I think this is one of my favorite books by her so far and I am really looking forward to more in this new San Diego based series. Amazing and sooooo good! 👏👏 I liked a lot of the characters especially Kit & her family and Sam and even though things were questionable I did think he would be innocent it just didn’t seem like something he would do and he did want to help with everything. I did kind of expect the murder of her foster sister in the beginning to come into the main story a bit more but it was a different killer so wouldn’t have made sense. Like the rest of the Romantic Suspense series, this latest can be started without reading the prior sub-series named after the cities where they take place.
