The Braun – Cruzer Body Shaver was an interesting middle-case, in that it was the only model that actually functions as a face shaver as well as a trimmer given the attached razor. This combination made it worth considering for the user who doesn’t have a razor and also occasionally wants to trim other hair. But for armpits and manscaping, the shaver worked great. It shaves very close and most importantly, it’s very comfortable.

The rounded tips of the two blades ensure great comfort most of the time. Unless you’re very sloppy and rush through it, they will not pinch the skin.

After using various other products for general body grooming, I must say that overall I’ve been pleased with the Norelco BG2020. After rinsing, shake the excess water and pat the groomer dry with a towel. And that’s about it. Shaving performance The Gillette Styler, though, feels small in your hand — which really works to its benefit. It’s powerful but tiny, perfect for hair-by-hair styling if you’re looking for finesse in your trimmer. The Bodygroom, already our preferred option in blade type, also outperformed the field in battery life, with a two-hour average run time. The Braun performed worse, at only an 80-minute run time.

Well, I’m glad to say that these problems are gone with the BG7030/BG7040. It is really smooth and efficient and it takes me less time to shave compared to using other body groomers. is just a tad too long for my liking. I always use the lowest setting as I like the hair to be as short as possible, so 2mm or 1.5 would have been just perfect.So if you want to trim the hair basically at skin level but without actually shaving it, you can do just that. This can be great for shaving under the arms or the groin area as those can be very sensitive. After that, you can shake off the water and optionally pat everything with a cloth. I prefer to let the groomer air dry on the countertop with the flap open and the shaving head removed.
