Yes and we encourage it. Any city can use our open platform code available on GitHub as long as they follow the terms of use. In the Uk we have been testing the prototype for London first to provide proof of concept and identify any initial problems. Our plan is then to then work with Ordnance Survey demo how the open code allows for a simple scaling-up to cover Britain as a whole. Colouring books for kids have been around for years. But fairly recently, it's taken off for adults too - the appeal is a combination of creativity and the dedicated focus which is great for mindfulness and mental health. Colouring London is a free knowledge exchange platform, designed to collate, collect, generate, visualise, open spatial data on every building in London. It also release open platform code, to enable its design to be easily reproduced.
Using colour also helps to firmly demonstrate the importance of working across the arts, humanities and science, in the development of tools designed to aid urban problem-solving and the development of sustainable cities.
How much do the Queen's Crown Jewels cost?
There are lots of ways you can use this colouring picture in class. Colouring is a great mindfulness activity and can be a great way to start lessons. Get children focused first thing in the morning by getting them to colour in this crown. Choosing the right colours to use is a very important decision and requires complete concentration. Ask them why they've used the colours they've selected. Does that colour hold a special significance to them? Have they ever seen a crown in real life? If so, what colour was it? You could even Google pictures of famous crowns to give them inspiration.
