How we tested

It is important to be flossing (cleaning between the teeth). We generally recommend flossing before brushing, but ultimately flossing at any time is better than not at all. Once you had a electric toothbrush you soon will know how long to brush your teeth and when to change the brush head. The key indicator is the color change from “blue” to whiteish. With the iO10, you get an iO Sense charging stand, which is magnetic and charges the brush in up to 3 hours. But, there is extra tech built-in. You do too want to ensure you brush all your teeth fairly evenly to limit the chances of problems now and in the future. The timer encourages you to do just this. The higher the model number the more features and the more expensive it is. The range topping model is the iO Series 10. The complete iO Series iO3 through to iO10 from left to right They are similar in more ways than they are different

I’m not sure if I’m allowed to include links in my comment but here’s the link to it and maybe you can confirm which model it looks like to you. The Series 9 comes with a power2go charging case that allows the iO to be charged inside whereas the Series 7 comes with a standard travel case. Despite the different design approach, it doesn’t feel slippery to the touch and you can easily retain a good grasp of it. The iO3 and 4 are the main exceptions though. No case comes supplied with the standard model. But there are variants where this is supplied. Compared to other Oral-B brushes with icons only or none at all, it certainly makes selecting brushing modes easier. The addition of a text name label is great.The 3, 4, 5 and 6 all come with a standard Oral-B charger. White in colour, it has a protuberance on the top that fits into the base of the brush handle.
