About this deal

First published in 1986, it is a successor to, and published in the same style as, the 1906 English Hymnal. By ticking I state I am a UK taxpayer making a personal donation and understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations, it is my responsibility to pay any difference.

The musical editor was Anthony Caesar with significant assistance from Arthur Hutchings, Christopher Dearnley, and Michael Fleming. Since its introduction in 1986, The New English Hymnal, containing 542 items, has been adopted in virtually every Anglican cathedral, many Roman Catholic cathedrals and in well over 1000 parishes. An asterisk indicates an item not included in the latest major edition, the New English Hymnal (1986).
