In my opinion, the Hustle Drive by Mooer Pedals is not quite as good as the original OCD Pedal, but I'll get into that a little further down. There is also the really high quality Japanese OneControl brand with its excellent Bjørn Juhl -designed minis, and LA-based Italian-made F-Pedals which both could do with more advertising really and more exposure. If you're a lead guitarist then this is one of those essential distortion pedals you need on your board. Whilst the Joyo clones the TS808, this Mooer Green Mile clones the just as legendary and famous, TS-9.

This pedal has long been on my wishlist and I will definitely finally land it one of these days - just really really cool - and much much better than the Blade. It just does not match up to the Crunch Box, or the Angry Charlie which is another similar type of distortion pedal. Something that is not talked about often enough with the Mooer cruncher is that fact that the very essence of the pedal was designed to be a "Marshall in a box". I used this as one of my major drives for a good couple of years and I loved how it sounded and reacted. Therefore, I don't think I'd be too far off from saying that the Green Mile is more of a clone of the Ibanez Turbo TS9DX, rather than the classic TS-9. However, most of the digital pedals definitely take some inspiration from the originals pedals that they're aiming to clone. This pedal is great for the rock genre and whilst it can get awesome lead tones, you’re also able to get epic chunky rhythm tones.

The Mooer Eleclady, with its small and sleek design, offers three knobs as well as a 2-way toggle switch. This pedal is great for the rock genre and whilst it can get awesome lead tones, you're also able to get epic chunky rhythm tones. The Mooer Blue comp is actually a clone of the often forgotten about, very rare, and old Boss CS-1 compressor. Many other cheaper Chinese clone pedals tend to produce a tiny and thin chorus tone which I don't like. I again think the Mooer does a credible simulation here of the original - although the former sounds to have just a touch more 'body' to it.However, in terms of sound, this pedal produces tones similar to that of the Metal Muff as well as the Boss Metal Zone.

However, they're overdrive pedals that maintain the integrity of your amplifiers sound by not coloring the tone.

A similar instance occurred with the Bass eq above whereby it has been claimed to be a clone of another EQ pedal which it clearly isn't. For that reason, it is great that Mooer was able to clone this pedal and bring it back to the pedal market. However, as is the case with a lot of clone pedals, they just miss out on not sounding quite as "organic" as the originals. So far in this list of the best Mooer pedals, it’s pretty easy to see how great some of the clones are. The Marshall Blues Breaker was designed to give us the overdriven sound of an old tube amp that is being pushed.
