One of my favorite things about Cynthia Eden's book is that she not only gives you dual POVs, but she also give you a peak inside the villain's head. It really spikes up the suspense of the story. I can't gush enough about this series, I have highlighted so much of the book, I could post quotes for an hour. I want more, I hope Drake gets his own book and happy ending too. Noah York is used to always being in control. His character already managed to intrigue me in the previous parts of the series, so I was very curious to find out more about him and the many mysteries he seemed to keep. He's the perfect type of alpha male, he's a rich, powerful hotel owner with a past full of fighting and killing. Even though, he's left that world behind, he's still the same calculated fighter with a lethal instinct. Especially when the things or persons closest to him are being threatened. If there's one person who'd to be able to protect Claire, it's supposed to be Noah...

I have been looking forward to this book for a few reasons. One being the age gap aspect ( I adore an age gap romance as there is an age gap between me and my husband), the single father aspect as I love a good single dad story, and the brother’s best friend trope because WHO doesn’t love a good BBF story. Also, when we met Bryson in the last book of the series, his situation was so heartbreaking and I just really wanted to see him happy.

It’s great that this story is told from dual points of view because it enables us to understand what each of the main characters is thinking about, worrying about, and hoping for throughout the story. When Colt and Emma give in to their mutual attraction, every bit of the steamy passion from when they were teenagers is still there, and now it’s incredibly intensified. But the problem remains that she loves their small town, and he still loves his big life. He instantly becomes protective of Claire and he wants to help her..He usually gets what he wants and moves on.But, he can't seem to do that with Claire, he finds himself only wants her more.... Ah. Now she understood. She met and held his dark gaze, her own hazel eyes trying to convey the gravity of the situation. “Riku...we're on our own, now. You know that, right? The Resistance isn't coming for us because it's too dangerous.” As the attraction starts to build, so does the concern and worry. Soon Tinley is sharing all her secrets, trying to get them one step ahead of the threat. Will her secrets send Bryson running for the hills? Will he believe her where many have not in the past? Can they find this guy and keep Tinley safe? I liked it and read it in one go. It was a fast paced story and the blurb sounded very interesting. It features three sisters who have started their own wedding planning company and revolves around their life. Ace & Shelby are best friends and it's Shelby's wedding day when she discovers that her fiance is cheating on her with Ace's girlfriend. Both of them didn't see such a huge betrayal coming but one night of drinking together, leads them to take a decision of going on Shelby's pre-booked honeymoon together. When lines blur and they discover some truths, will they act on their attraction and finally see what was meant to be?

I liked the story and I really loved Emma for reasons I can’t reveal without spoiling anything, but between planning the sister’s wedding and trying to see how their lives could fit together in a perfect world, we see that getting to a relationship is not always perfect.

A new romantic suspense author (for me) that will have me hooked on her books!!
