The Aardman team were brilliant to work with and we got on with the design and the production and explained that the quality had to be the same as what we always put out, it had to be practical, washable, fashionable, durable and good to look at. So teaming up with Aardman has been an incredible experience and a huge boost and now we're ready for people to enjoy what we've created together under the Wallace and Gromit brand at UrbanPup. Denis has had to keep schtum over the huge deal for the last eight months, but now he’s excited and relieved to be able to tell the world about the new business. We suggested that we could make the famous yellow sou’wester coat and hat, and although it was pretty difficult to get right, we did it and now we have a PVC outer coat and hat with earflaps, both of which are fully fleece lined and waterproof. Now after working with Aardman, we feel the business will spread further and also help us put Northern Ireland on the map and that feels great too.”We will bring another dog into our lives one day but even two years on, we’re still pretty raw about Buster and just not ready to have another dog yet.
