The memory feature allows an Alarm that has previously activated to be easily identified (as the red LED will continue to flash for 24hrs after the event or afterwards when you press the Test button). When the Alarm detects potentially dangerous levels of CO, the red LED flashes and if the CO persists the alarm will sound. The rate of flashing of the red LED indicates the level of CO.
