You are going to have games where, no matter how well you play, your team is going to get beaten up badly. These will be frustrating to play, but I am convinced that is why I am a much better defensive coach for playing these type of games. Reply

With this team, you’ll probably want to use a Linewoman as your runner, who then either Hands Off to a Blitzer or Catcher depending on who’s available. Glotl Stop

Show your loyalty to Angron and the raging XII Legion with these new upgrades for your Mark VI Space Marines. The head set includes nine helmeted heads – featuring the crests that are still stylish 10,000 years later – plus a helmeted sergeant’s head, and a bare head showing off the infamous Butcher’s Nails. However overall the team plays a bit more like faster necromantic horrors overall: you have your linemen screens that can tie up the opponent (though here they are easier to relocate and can carry the ball in a pinch). I recommend fend on them as a first skill if ever. You can also upgrade your Space Wolves units with heads and shoulder pads. You get eleven heads in total – nine Legionary helmets, a decorated officer’s helmet, and a bare head. The other upgrade set offers 10 moulded shoulder pads featuring the Legion icon.Catcher breaks the closest to even, trading only 2 movement for one strength, most would consider this, particularly for the position and role, a fairly poor trade. And you only get two of them anyway. Having said that, while I think the team is less strong now, I do think it’ll be a much more interesting team to actually play and to play against. It’s not a drastic change, but adding more variance in MA and STR across the team, as well as some oddball skills, definitely makes them less of a milquetoast experience. Two more issues of White Dwarf are being added to the Warhammer Vault . Issues 332 and 333 hail from 2007 and feature Gondor and the Chaos Space Marines as cover stars, respectively. Each of their players can be compared unfavourably with the normal human team….without considering the humans getting a big guy and two extra catchers. And I mean seriously unfavourably: Clearly, Glotl will put a stop to the advance of the opposing team with his sheer savagery and brute strength. I like that someone has clearly had to make sure that he doesn't escape from the team dugout at the wrong time with those manacles and the rope around his jaws. I can't imagine it would be good having Glotl eating the opposing team during the warm-up.

Piranha Warrior Catchers: Up 5k, nothing else to see really. PA of 5+ is typical of what we’re seeing for Catcher types. The team includes a wide variety of positionals, each taking their inspiration from a different jungle creature. Eagle Warrior Linewomen Bob: “This discussion can only be cleared up with a good game of Blood Bowl and a few less teeth. Just like old times.” HardyRoach: A Guard / Sidestep piece is good enough, but that special rule? Damn. The ability to just completely shut down a scoring punt on a 2+ is exceptionally good, and I have a feeling that Estelle is going to end up house ruled in plenty of tournaments, either to increase her price or nerf her ability. Dan: While I get what you’re saying, I do feel the need to point out that every Skaven coach everywhere has no problem feeding their own rats to a Rat Ogre. Additionally, his special rule means that once per game, his Animal Savagery punch can be used on an opposition player instead of one of your own! That’s really good! It’s like a free Mighty Blow Stab once per game! With Glotl’s ST6, Frenzy , Stand Firm , and Prehensile Tail he’s the ultimate cage smasher and is well worth the 270k gp price tag.
