Distillateur En Provence Mistral Gin is a handcrafted small batch premium gin distilled with provencal botanicals. Using botanicals from the land carved by the Mistral wind our light pink gin features the botanicals of Provence with a fresh citrus flourish and by adding your favourite mixer you can enjoy a new experience from Provence lifestyle wherever you are! Each botanical is distilled separately and carefully blended for a clever balance of zesty citrus and drying herbs.

To bring in the fruity element there is pink grapefruit (which helps lend the color) as well as aniseed and mint.

MistralGin is made up of many botanical, plants and herbs from Provence, delicately distilled: basil, fennel, thyme, mint… but also grapefruit, eucalyptus… Discover all the floral composition of this rosé dry gin made in Provence. There is a slightly herby taste to the gin, and you may even note the rosemary and thyme if you look for it. Distilled in Provence, France, this pale salmon-pink coloured gin is based on neutral grape spirit redistilled with 12 botanicals: juniper berries, coriander seeds, orris root, pink grapefruit, cardamom, grains of paradise, pink peppercorns, eucalyptus, fennel, basil, mint and thyme.

One of the better and more serious examples of a "pink gin" with pleasing citrus and floral notes, but these are somewhat dominated by peppery spice (grains of paradise, pink peppercorns and cardamom). Just immerge in the MistralGin universe : When the mistral wind blows, the whole spirit of the South of France carries you away… in a unique desire to look on the bright side and enjoy life. With tonic water, Mistral Gin has mild and savoury characters with balance from the fruity citrus of pink grapefruit, and a minty herbal freshness also emerges together with thyme and pepper.

By blending the Provençal herbs and citrus with the traditional gin botanicals this unique rosé dry gin has a great balance between a typical juniper gin but complemented by Provençal herbs, citrus, mint, and aniseed notes. Hand crafted in a 100 year old distillery in the heart of Provence, Mistral dry rosé gin takes its colour from thyme flowers and fresh pink grapefruit and gets its unique taste from the wild herbs of Provence. And very good they are too, but it’s refreshing to find one with more than a century of distilling behind it. Launched in 2018, Mistral Gin is a rosé dry gin named after the strong 'Mistral' wind which blows in winter and spring in the Provence region of south eastern France.

Here you’ll pick out maniguette, coriander, cardamom, iris root, pink pepper, juniper, eucalyptus, fennel, basil, mint, thyme and pink grapefruit. This unique rosé dry gin has a great balance between the gin typical power, the Provençal herbs (thyme, basil) and the citrus, mint, and aniseed notes. The Roberts family took charge in 1978 – third generation distillers who’ve inherited a tradition of gathering local medicinal herbs from the Lure mountains in Haute Provence for their liqueurs and spirits. Based on our knowledge of the terroirs of Provence and our know-how in the blending of wines, we decided to launch a new artisanal approach for this gin. Produced at a family-run distillery in Forcalquiers, they used their wine knowledge to create a beautiful rosy gin.In addition to rosé, Provence also produces red and white wines, as well as fortified wines such as Muscat de Beaumes-de-Venise. After several years of experience between Sydney and the French Riviera, Hervé Messmer has created his company of event bars. The history of winemaking in Provence dates back to ancient times, with the Greeks and Romans introducing viticulture to the region.

By using our knowledge of Provencal terroirs and our know-how about blending wine, we decided to bring a new approach to Gin with this handcrafted Provencal gin ! Mistral Gin is distilled in Provence and six of the twelve botanicals used in its production are native to the region. This provencal lifestyle is defined by taking time to enjoy life under the sun from the Midi and the South of France with the sound of crickets and cicadas. The light and refreshing character of Mistral Gin evokes the gentle breeze of the renowned Mistral wind that carves the Provençal landscape. Winner of one of the most prestigious French sommelier awards, Fabrice Sommier is above all a passionate enthusiast and hedonist. While it is pink in hue, it is the dry herbaceous and herbal botanicals alongside pink grapefruit that have prominence alongside the juniper. The 12 botanicals eventually blend in a very smooth, refined gin with an extraordinary refreshing power. It may be pink or should I say blush, however has a nice dry finish a somewhat different experience from some of the sweet artificial tasting pink guns out there. Loaded with your chosen credit amount, send it to your friends and loved ones and let them choose their own perfect gift from The Wine Box. By blending together the tradition of gin with herbs of Provence, we are proud to elaborate the first rosé dry gin in Provence as a summary of our region with a refreshing premium gin.
