Connect the left and right channels of the AUX cable to IN2_L and IN2_R using factory 1uF SMD capacitors (C153 and C154). Have been reading around and it seems that you only get the 'AUX' option in the menu depending on the version of software installed at the factory. Sorry mate you have to wait a bit for the detail as the old girl is packed for a bit of a run to "the bolt hole". I tried to exchange the head unit with Professional - radio and cd ok, but AUX was not even present on menu. It’s a simple iPhone adapter that plugs into the iPhone and enable you to stream all your iPhone music through any car radio.

There are two wires for 12 V power from the vehicle, and the audio signal is sent out over the RCA plugs. It's annoying when it works fine, for you to put the car back together and you've knocked it so it's crap! You can splice in to the wires going into those pins either by cutting in and soldering, or use non-solder tap connectors.

There are some good bluetooth receivers out there so I have the potential to mess some more, say with tables n phone. Okey, thanks - I have asked the dealer, and they tell me that they need to reprogram the whole car, and it needs to stay over night because it takes so long time. In final form, a Bluetooth module and Arduino Pro Micro are stuffed inside the stereo along with a DPDT relay to switch the I2C bus. If they hit the button for tape, the microcontroller will instruct the mux to route out the tape audio instead. Some big, 2200u and 3300u low esr caps, dc-dc isolating converter and even a low noise regulator had to be used.

And a loose Bluetooth speaker in the back better than a4 channel system designed for the vehicle volume….

Apparently, there were issues with your specific radio part, but I can't find an indication of what problems they exhibited. You are currently viewing our forum as a guest, which gives you limited access to view most discussions and access our other features. It happened to me before with all the bluetooth modules I’ve worked with, it’s often even a problem with commercial headphones, but this time it was something else.

If you can figure out how signals are routed from the various subcomponents of the head unit – such as the CD player, tape deck, and radio modules – then you should be able to figure out how to route in your own signals instead.Connect the AUX audio signal ground to the signal ground of the S-GND power amplifier (Signal GND) in the TDA7386 power amplifier IC. I have HK sound system and previous owner installed the AUX option, but Radio seems to sound better.
