Description

This collectible poster, printed in 1988 to promote the French release of Die Hard, is not a reprint or a reproduction. Alongside our favourite artists and studios, we design and create premium quality, limited edition art prints for iconic popular culture movies and TV shows.

The Black Cushion Frame comes without a mount, with thin minimal 20mm frame rim to ensure that the poster is on full display. Incredibly rare, rolled, yes a rolled original UK Quad film poster for John McTiernan’s ground breaking actioner “Die Hard”.All of our original posters are 100% guaranteed authentic from the time of release, we do not sell reproductions. I saw both posters and, when considering the rumor, looked at the original and thought "Surely they can't mean the poster in which Willis' face occupies 25% of it", but ok, fair enough.

Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions.Currently fully online and across worldwide art fairs we continue to bring the best in art, pop culture and collectibles.

This film gets better with age - and don't you just wonder what Bruce Willis will be doing at Christmas time? S. one sheet movie poster from 1988 for John McTiernan's classic adventure thriller "Die Hard", based on the 1979 novel Nothing Lasts Forever by Roderick Thorp. The film follows off-duty New York City Police Department officer John McClane (Bruce Willis) who is caught in a Los Angeles skyscraper on Christmas Eve during a heist led by criminal mastermind Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman). This final release version (looks great in this landscape format) featuring close up of John Maclane (Bruce Willis) and an exploding Nakatomi Tower looks superb.

Transforming Willis into an action star, the film became a metonym for an action film in which a lone hero fights overwhelming odds. Used for larger advertising spaces, normally posted on walls, perfect for huge movie theatres the drive-in, where people could see them from a distance. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). As you can see the Nakatomi building is as important, showing the action which people might not assume from a picture of Willis.Since the 1980’s most posters are sent to the theatre rolled and maybe slightly smaller measuring 27″ by 40″ and with the advent of backlit light boxes a growing number of modern movie posters are available double-sided and the more traditional single-sided.
