Use the most ripe, fresh strawberries. They should be bright or deep red in color. But pay attention they’re not over ripe as overripe strawberries might be spoiled and will ruin your liqueur. Prosecco - you can create alcohol infused strawberries with pretty much any dry alcohol. Some substitutes include champagne, vodka, rum, white wine, red wine or rose. PS.
