Few things I didn't like. There where some parts that made me roll my eyes. Some of the dialogue was not really believable to me, and although I'm all for having a fighting spirit. She was big on antagonizing others until she finally wised up about that. And the whole reason that she was in witness protection feels wrong. I know its possible as people do awful things for no reason. But the fact that this Tony would blame her doesn't make any sense at all. I liked both MCs even though I had my doubts about Aidan because he didn't leave a very good first impression but I learned to love him. Then, Amelia was already interesting enough from the blurb alone (she's on the run and assumed a fake identity with the help of the FEDs), but the fact that she was fierce and a doer made me like her all the more. There's also the friendship in this book that has to be my favorite aspect of the story. Amelia found herself a tight-knit circle of friends (even though she wasn't supposed to) who were so much fun but were always there for her when it counted.

I love Bully romances because there is always so much going on in them. This is a classic example of that type of romance because it contains an alpha male character that is tall muscular and sexy but also broody and mean at times, that character is Aiden. Our hero in the standard bully romance is always surrounded by a small entourage of like minded individuals that take their cues from the Hero. We also have a heroine, Amelia that is constantly bullied, but is not afraid to stand up for herself. Sometimes when the mood strikes, I go on Wattpad and read some YA stories. Anyone else who does this? 😂 Escort - I am using this loosely. She is not an escort her dad uses her to persuade men to do what he wants. She does actually have sexual encounters with these men.All in all, if you don't mind Wattpad (I'm saying/stressing this because I saw a lot of opposers on social media in the past) and are in the mood for some light reading, this could be it for you! The first part has a typical setup: Courtlin and Kenley meet while Kenley is working, a phone number is exchanged and they meet-up. And while I usually struggle to suspend my disbelief when it comes to "vanilla girl has BDSM sex within 24h of meeting the love interest" (and this does suffer from open communication), it was surprisingly well done. Nothing extreme happens that night and Courtlin's comfort level are at the forefront.

Wattpad Studios’ Aron Levitz and Eric Lehrman will executive produce; Wattpad’s Lindsey Ramey will co-executive producer. Finally this isn't even about the story per-say but the author has a FAQ chapter in which she states that since she,her friends and her followers like the story it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. It's good to be positive but please there is a difference between hate that is just hate and someone showing the flaws in your work so you can in prove. Prometheus Global Media . Retrieved January 31, 2017.Well, this particular story here is actually getting published in a few days and I got an ARC for the revised version, so a massive thanks to Smith Publicity Inc. and Netgalley for providing me with this copy!

It's definitely not for everyone though. This book is all about the "breathtaking" and "gorgeous" guy. Then, the overall voice of the book is a bit "juvenile", the heroine says things like "Of course I don't L word Aidan [...]" and the story has a lot of petty and cliché high school drama going on (= prank war with queen B) that went on too long imo, but you know what? Despite its issues, the story was quite addicting. It flowed very well and was easy to read. Alas... this didn't. Kenley and Courtlin had no chemistry; this was certainly explicit, but not very sexy imo. The mafia aspects were equally eye-rolly and upsetting. I expected it to get dark and violent, but it didn't, not really? But Ken's brothers and father were OTT gross and horrible and I hated them so much. She was supposed to be this boss-ass mafia bitch, but it felt like they took away all her agency. This isn't a critique of the book; they're not good people and we're meant to dislike them. It just wasn't fun to read, and nothing else about it was fun to read. If you are craving your next for pleasure/entertainment read, then look no further than this novel. I seriously had so much fun reading She's With Me and downed it like a delicious glass of sweet wine. It had just enough sweetness to mingle with its more biting, thrilling moments, and I really had a blast getting to know Amelia and Aiden.

See a Problem?

Confident that my point was made and this jerk face was properly put in his place, I spin on my heel so my hair hits him on the shoulder and walk through the parting crowd, leaving him steaming. He cogido mucho cariño a todos los personajes. Creo que la amistad que se crea en esta novela es muy bonita y como todos lo dan todo por todos es maravilloso. Y me ha encantado ver, que aunque entre Amelia y Aiden hay tensión desde el principio, los sentimientos más grandes tardan en llegar. h pushes h away - yes when truth comes out to Kenley that she has been lied to she does leave Courtlin

Amelia, the new girl in school, bumps into the school's bad boy, Aiden Parker. She becomes the talk of the school, something she is trying to avoid, when she puts him in his place for being a jerk. You see, Amelia has a past she's running from. Attention puts her at risk of being found. Getting mixed up with the notorious Aiden Parker isn't flying under the radar. But Aiden has demons of his own. Demons that set him apart from your average teenager. Are they the perfect match or the worst? The usual happens, MC moves to new town, MC runs into hunky boys, that are for some reason exclusively 6'2+, MC doesn't get along with the main hunky boy, MC goes to party and gets assaulted by faceless villain(s), MC is rescued by Main Hunk. Main hunk has a fling girl that is a barbie and she hates the MC. The amount of characters made it difficult to develop any of their storylines. I wanted to learn more about them, but there wasn’t enough time to get to genuinely learn about them. Hostelley, Laura (November 19, 2016). "Album Review: High Valley's 'Dear Life' ". Sounds Like Nashville. SpinMedia . Retrieved January 31, 2017.I love the close connection that all the friends in this book have. I love the characters and how they all have such different personalities. Even the 'mean girl' in the story is unique in the fact that she is completely crazy lol. I love the romance in the story of course, but I also like that there was a hint of a love triangle without it going full-on angsty. I'm all for a good love triangle, but it has to be done right. We do get very little dialogue between the two leads and maybe a bit more reading into actions than I would like. This makes the second part all the worst: because for some unexplained reason, Courtlin has to come along when Kenley has to job and then meet her father. And suddenly we are in the usual instalove territory, "I am suddenly feeling so much for her", we get a lot of interactions between Kenley and her brothers (to make her appear more badass?), and there is new information that barely holds a plot thread together.
