The result of this is a glowing solar system at night or when it’s dark in the room. After assembly, the planets start to automatically revolve around the sun. Giving your children the opportunity to build a visual representation of the position of all eight planets in the solar system allows them to engage on a new level with the content and see for themselves how the principle of gravity and rotation around the sun works. The Solar System Mobile is ideal for a childs bedroom and is easy to install, all the hardware is included and the unit is battery powered so there's no need for a mains connection. It can be hung from most parts of the ceiling using the parts provided and whilst it makes a superb night light, it does not replace the existing light-fixture.
