Description

The RailDriver® Desktop Train Cab Controller includes prototypical levers and controls for the ultimate interface to computer-based railroading. An internal bass speaker supplements your existing sound system and adds realistic vibration to the controls. The door panel has been designed to work straight out of the box after installing the included software. No complex setup of configuration for each train is required. This has been done for you. Firmware is the software, or programming code, inside the door Panel controller itself. This may be updated occasionally to provide new features or improvements. The PBC has been designed to work straight out of the box after installing the included software. No complex setup or configuration for each train is required. This has been done for you. The only setting you might have to

Generally yes. The software has been specifically programmed and tested to work with most UK add-ons and also many worldwide trains. Every week, new add-ons are tested and added to the supported list which can be found here: CompatibilityMatrixI am aware of the problems with the "find time factor" (I also had problems with it myself). But this should be improved in the new version. I have included a lot of trains, but configured them to match my "thrustmaster t flight hotas x" and the German language there are other boards that can be programmed as arduinos, STM32F Blue Pill boards that are very cheap can be easily programed as an 'arduino maple mini' Not sure about Steam, but DS4Windows definitely allows you to use the touchpad as a mouse, as well as lots of other useful features (far more in depth than Steam). I still use the XInput solution in TSW2 and TSW3 because controlling throttle and brakes directly is really nice. Also, with the other tools I mentioned in my previous post I can split and remap my hardware levers to the Raildriver axis so that they match 1:1 with the loco I'm driving. For example, the Raildriver has throttle and brake on the same lever which is not the case for all locos like in the BR 185.

However, if you want to use any of these controllers wirelessly, you will probably need an adapter. Official ones are very expensive, so I usually just use a cable to connect it. The 8BitDo Wireless Adapter is a cheaper alternative to official adapters, but might have issues with individual controllers. If your PC is compatible, I believe it is possible to use an Xbox One/Series X/S controller wirelessly without an adapter.DRA switch rotary switch -Drivers reminder appliance. This is used as an aid for the driver, and cuts the power when turned on.
