It's not just me that needs to see these numbers, it's also my opponent from the other side of the table. Models in this set have updated, alternative-pose sculpts compared to those in the 'Stark vs Lannister' set. The Tactics board depicts five different powers, like gaining a free attack for a unit, forcing an enemy to make a panic test etc. They are powerful in their own right and a combination of a unit being played into its strengths and a well-timed tactic card can sometimes be enough to completely wipe an opposing unit from the board and cinch the game. Jaime the Young Lion adds attack dice to his unit in combat, while his Kingslayer version immediately turns the enemy's failed attack into a successful counterattack against him.

Players decide the type of game they wish to play; there are currently eight different types of scenarios available. Games clock in at about 2 hours and it fills the itch for a large tabletop game with regiments marching across it to secure objectives and rout their foes. This will be familiar to those who have played a wargame before but as mentioned previously the core rules are quick to learn and enable the greater tactical game around them. The production is all top quality and feels like a proper crunchy wargame with soldiers fighting over the battlefield.
