Speaking of bonus tracks, the second disk (featuring just three more songs) does not contribute all too much to the overall experience of the album, the songs there are in the same vein as the ones on the main disk, just more forgettable and repetitive. During instrumental passages, I was silently thrilled to read in the liner notes about exactly which guitars Steve Howe used on each track! The instrumental backing has its moments, but the overly light vocal arrangements detract from the body of this song.

Band members Billy Sherwood, Geoff Downes, Jay Schellen, and Jon Davison, who has co-written most of the record all contribute and play gracefully, adding a pretty fine album to the majestic Yes universe. When work on the album began the band still had a lot of potential musical ideas to develop, partly due to the amount of time spent away from recording during the COVID-19 pandemic. Billy Sherwood depuis si longtemps dans le giron de YES n`a pas été choisi par hasard par Chris Squire pour le remplacer ( RIP à l`une des âmes du groupe ).

Geoff Downes adds texture with solid keyboards, more Kaye than Wakeman, while Jay Schellen is solid on drums. White died three days later and Schellen, who had been handling most of the band's live work since 2016, took over on the drums. I was not particularly impressed with the first single, and the fact that this is another of those stupid disc-and-a-half money-grab releases also didn’t do much to give me hope.

The group made several arrangements of the song, including one featuring a church organ, but decided to strip it back to its more minimal form.Davison’s voice is, as elsewhere on this album, too soft, but the instrumental parts are pretty good. Davison took Sherwood's initial parts and rearranged them using audio editing software to make a new arrangement, after which the band built on it and reproduced their respective parts. By making a second disc, the band is making a principled artistic statement: disc one is the album and disc two has the bonus tracks. It's not completely the Yes of the past, but there are still some spiritual connections with some eras of the band. Well, that depends in which type of Yes fan you are: a lover of the breakthrough The Yes Album, which defined the group’s sound and positioned the group high in the progosphere, or maybe your preference is the New Wave-influenced Tormato?

There is some 70's vibe here and it's when things are quieter that Jon Davison's voice sounds like Jon Anderson. Sure, “Cut from the Stars” has that nimble Billy Sherwood tribute to Chris Squire, but it still sounds to my ear like 3/5 Arc of Life and 2/5 Yes.Closing track 'Circles of Time' is one I found particularly corny, could have been left out as a bonus track, depending on who you ask. Despite my earlier remarks about non-equal footing, this track does in fact achieve entrance into the Yes pantheon. All Connected comes off a little ordinary to begin with, but there so much to it and now sometimes I go straight to that song first. surround sound, Dolby Atmos, Hi Res 96k/24bit stereo mixes and instrumental mixes of all album tracks.
