Description

I appreciate that it's still fresh and oceanic but has that dark incense note making it a little more serious, formal, and sexy.

But the thing is, ive smelt this on people, and everytime it smells heavenly, but idk guys, cant get past how it smells on me/on clothes. I was out in the sun for about 30mins and it is a very sunny day here so that could have something to do with it. It smells sort of generic and plain to me, but I'm guessing from the comments of more seasoned noses that it's actually not - maybe I'm just getting stuck on that aquatic accord I smell (something similar to) so often. After smelling out there ouds, the highest quality niche, and stunningly beautiful vintages, I think I can say that this is truly how I want to smell and present myself to the world. The incence/zesty/earthy qualities really mellow it down to something pleasant and surprisingly sophisticated. I've had a travel version that smelled better for some reason and lasted longer than these two, but they are still good. As you walk along the path, you notice patches of wild sage growing between the rocks, their leaves emitting a subtle and refreshing aroma.

So I took the plunge and bought a bottle since there wasn't a sample, but off the initial tester spray I could tell that it has a bit more of a spicy sandalwood scent. But the dry-down started giving me headaches so I sold it, now its discontinued and I'm wondering if I should've kept it for outdoors.

The Acqua di Giò It doesn't smell like menthol or eucalyptus but it has a note in there with similar feel - a very punchy, in-your-face sort of sharp-feeling fumey cleanness that clears your head and grabs your attention when you smell it up close (though not in a way I want my attention to be grabbed). People try and act like it's superior to have this one, but they are most likely just stroking their own ego instead of listening to their nose.I could understand some annoyance if this was titled under something different than the Profumo name, but it's not. I pick up a slight kind of spicy Dr Pepper or root beer like vibe mixed behind the salty marine notes and incense. is more mature tahn the original, more classy, misterious, elegant; is perfectly balanced and it smell really , really, really amazign in my opinion. There was a licorice note that I didn't pick out the first time but, for some reason, this spray smelled like straight Jägermeister.

Inspired by the aromas of the Mediterranean sea, Acqua di Giò Profumo for men will transport you to the beach. At the end, the marine notes rises above the tides after the incense dies out, paying homage to the ADG DNA. But don't come on here and say that the original Profumo is the same fragrance as Special Blend, because that is complete bs and it is clear that you haven't even bothered to thoroughly test Special Blend, if at all. In my opinion, Profumo it's significantly more aquatic, it's a little bit lighter and has some more of that pure aquatic vibe going on, almost like Cool Water By Davidoff whereas Special Blend smells just a tad less aquatic, it still has that DNA of course but smells darker, it seems to have more of the cinnamon vibe in it. I also loved the original back in the day when it was first released, but as the years went by I felt it had a sour, harsh metallic basenote that I couldn't stand anymore.
