This story was the perfect mix of the type of butterflies-in-your-stomach romance, chuckling humor, and overall sweetness that you crave when the days get longer and hotter.

Waverly is our main character and she is so awkward and relatable that I knew exactly why she was feeling the things she did throughout the book. However, as she makes friends and grows closer to the boy next door, she finds that Holden, Florida is the first place she’s ever felt like she belonged. She doesn't really have any friends, and she's never fit in with the interests of her divorced parents, college professors working in different areas of science. This is one of those rare books that I actually got to spy on the shelves before I had heard any buzz about it.

This book a time travel experience, meeting and learning the ideas of the founders of a lot of modern-day match winning methods; simply fantastic!

Q: The trim-size for the book, which I particularly love, is much smaller than the standard picture book. It's a sweet story with a fun beach setting and mostly charming characters, but the writing is somewhat amateur. the talk about how hard it can be to find yourself and find your people is most certainly a relatable topic, so when you do find your people and your best self, you need to hold onto that.

Lena, Alissa, and Jesse, Waverly’s friends, were all fun and Alissa was especially well fleshed out. She's eager to avoid him at all costs, hoping to fit in with the other kids in Holden without drawing too much attention to herself. I had a couple of issues where Waverly’s character and with the pacing of the book, but beyond those it is a completely adorable beach read that I completely recommend to anybody looking for a fluffy YA romance. L’ambiance était sympa, mais j’ai eu vraiment du mal à m’attacher aux personnages, tout allait trop vite et je ne m’attendais pas à un truc aussi « teen movie » aux sentiments un peu trop culcul. The fact that I ended up loving the beach town atmosphere in this book was definitely a surprise for me.

Float Level is Manchester City Centre's First Floatation Centre bringing the ultimate in relaxation and a whole host of other benefits to the people of Manchester.

Waverly is approaching her senior year in high school and has yet to find a place where she belongs. My one real problem is that she doesn’t know how to swim at the start of the book, and apparently finds that embarrassing enough to admit that she endangers herself over it not once but twice in the book, and I did find her constant talking about her height (she’s almost 6 feet tall if I remember correctly) and her clumsiness to wear on me a little. I do think it had so much potential, it could have had some more backstory on the characters and their relationship with their parents.I enjoyed the beach setting much more than I thought I would, as I personally don’t like going to the beach, so I wasn’t expecting to enjoy reading about it. While Waverly’s voice comes across as being far more mature than her seventeen years of age, the rest of the tone is appropriate for conveying teenage angst and first-time encounters like parties and make-out sessions, sparkling with wit and the occasional obscenity. Q: Do you consider wordless picture books a better solitary experience or more exciting as a read-aloud? Then we have our wonderful, brooding Blake who has family issues to work through while also making the reader fall head over heels for him.
