I’m always a sucker for inventiveness in design and the little details in the molded parts, like the lacing on the tail, or the tail being used as a stand—that was genius! Jordie's hair is a mass of sleek micro braids that would have been perfect if it weren't for the sparse rooting at the back of the head and the two messy braids right at the very front. She accessorizes with mismatched cuff earrings, two stacked necklaces, and a purple electric guitar.

The other problem with the hairstyle is that two of the braids right near the front of Jordie's head are really messed up.

I bought Jordie for this review mostly because I think she's really beautiful (and I've become obsessed with micro-braided doll hair), but it's actually a good thing I'm including her because her body is not the same as Orra's. Her tail is made out of jointed hard plastic that's covered with a decorative vinyl skin, while the regular dolls have hollow plastic tails with no internal joint. POSEABLE: Orra has articulation points at the neck, shoulders, elbows, wrists, torso, waist, fin, and for the first time ever—knee! Unfortunately we cannot deliver to BFPO addresses and some large items are shipped directly from our suppliers who ship to the UK mainland only. Even beyond that, it just seems like there was such a rush to get them out, they’re kinda just floating in the market with nothing to support them.

I'm super picky about sculpts and these are quite lovely even though I usually prefer more realistic and less stylized. If you're using Safari and can't comment, here's something to try: go to your Safari settings, select Preferences, then select Privacy. Jordie's exposed tail doesn't bother me, since Jordie's tail doesn't seem to come off at all, let alone by accident. As usual, I have a billion things on my mind and in my review queue, and my slow self can't work fast enough to keep up.
