Glenfarclas has become famous for making incredible sherried Speyside whiskies over the last couple hundred years. Below the sweetness is the same moody qualities as the nose with lots of old wood, baking spices, and leather creating great complexity for this whisky. The palate is sweet and balanced, offering warm apple tart, cinnamon, cooked blueberries, raisins, toffee, and Christmas cake, with a slight and appealing hint of soapiness. The Glenfarclas 25 has a stunning amber hue with alluring dark gold tints, owing to its lengthy maturing period.
