When I’m not testing recipes in the kitchen or behind the camera, you can find me planning a culinary travel adventure or spending time on Maui. The index is straightforward, allowing you to find recipes by key ingredients as well as by type of dumpling, bao or noodle. Noodles: I like to use fine egg noodles but you might want to keep the recipe vegan in which case ramen noodles would be best. Add a splash of water, cover and steam for 4-5 minutes or until cooked through, then remove the lid and cook for a further minute each side for extra crispiness.

The Thai red curry paste really works well here and a jar keeps in the fridge for a while, which you can use in other recipes too. The heat is coming from the Thai red curry paste, so make sure you use one that’s not too explosive!
