About this deal

If I could change one thing it would be to make the wheel space slightly wider to prevent having to concentrate or your feet placement while you are getting used to the system. Even someone who had had deportment lessons would have a few issues keeping the walking gait in a straight line between the 2 wheels. Tested by mum Claire Jopson for the M&B Awards 2017:

Amy: The bumprider makes life easier as I can attach it to the stroller and my eldest can jump on it when they decide they don’t want to walk anymore. It means I no longer have to take the double pushchair everywhere which means we can get around the shops easier and it frees up space on the boot. It is also a lot easier than having a stroller and having to carry a child they can either stand or sit on the board. Compact and handy, the Babystyle Oyster 3 Ride-on Board is perfect for your child to hop on to when they are tired. It is also small enough not to become a trip hazard as you walk! Items of Furniture can only be delivered to mainland UK only, items cannot be delivered to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isles of Silly & some Highland Islands For mums and dads who have to haul around more than one small child, the Bumprider Stroller Board might be a life saver. The product attaches easily to any pram or buggy; it’s not too big or bulky although it does extend out enough for it to be annoying at times. The board’s manoeuvrability is good but it is quite expensive – even for a good idea! Tested by mum Mark Jones for the M&B Awards 2017: When it comes to attaching it to your buggy, the Baby Jogger Glider Board is easy to fit. It can also be flipped and clipped away when not in use and it won’t stop you folding your buggy when attached either. Like the Oyster board though, this board designed to fit only one brand of pushchairs, which means that it won’t be of use if you don't have a Baby Jogger design. If you hate faffing about with fiddly gadgets, you can breathe easy thanks to the Bumprider Stroller Board. The manufacturer of this buggy board claims that it’s almost totally universal and doesn’t require tools for attachment to your buggy. Music to the ears of those of us who are, ahem, less than adept at DIY.

Although it was OK for me as I am not as tall and therefore have smaller strides my husband found that the wheels of the Bumprider were a bit too close together and so he had to adapt his stride so as not to catch his toes. It would be great if they could manage to make it a bit wider without losing the other benefits. Tested by mum Michelle Henderson for the M&B Awards 2016: Sturdy and adjustable, the Kiddie adapts with your child as they grow. Don’t be put off by the rain! The Kiddie has a non-skid surface to keep your child secure and steady when you are out and about in all weather conditions. Alexia: It is a product that I would recommend and is useful with versatility to all prams, is good quality but it is also more expensive than others on the market, the bugaboo buggy board and seat for bugaboos for example is cheaper as a combined seat and board than this is to have the board and seat as an accessory. It is also heavier and bulkier than its competitor. Would you choose this product above all others on the market? My little girl loves this when we are out and about, especially if we are walking most the day - it gives her legs a little rest. She gets to see her baby brother too as it's just the right height. Easy to remove and attach to the stroller, nice colour and great design. Has a good price tag, and i feel this will get a lot of use out of it. Lightweight so easy to transport.

Over the last couple of months, we have tried and tested multiple buggy boards and found that there are so many different styles on the market and this then became so overwhelming, as I just wanted the best for our son. All have their benefits and features that make them a worthwhile investment and it is really down to personal preference. The Bumprider was really easy to attach to all the pushchairs tested and once on I barely noticed it was there. It was really smooth over all different terrains and handled going up curbs easily. It also looks very stylish and is not boxy like most other buggy boards are so looked good with all the prams.

How We Rated

If my daughter is refusing to come for a walk with the dogs, the suggestion of using the Bumprider more often than not helps to get her outside and into the fresh air. It means I can carry out day-to-day errands such as dog walking or going to the shops while keeping my daughter entertained at the same time. I used the lascal too. 4 children so 3 of them had a buggy board at some point. Wouldn't have been without it. Also bought extra clips so could just move it from the pram to the stroller depending what we were doing that day” - loved by Mumsnet user, missnevermind Our verdict Adorned with light-up wheels, and a 360-degree swivel, the Freerider will help boost your child’s independence as they scoot alongside you and your pram. Easily re-attached to become a step-on board, your child has a secure platform for when they get too tired to scoot or walk. If you have more than one small child, you may find a buggy board an ideal way to upgrade your buggy or stroller to carry your older child, rather than investing in a double buggy that may only be used for a few months. Reviewers say that buggy boards are handy for short trips out when you need to keep everyone moving at a faster pace than toddler speed.

The term buggy board officially refers to the Lascal Buggy Board, which was the very first board manufactured to be attached to a buggy. Most pushchair brands offer their own buggy board but you can also choose from a wide range of universal buggy boards designed to fit most types of pram.On products with this status we will show an estimated delivery time based on the information provided to us by our brand partners.
