It has minimum sillage and projection and lasts probably 1-2 hours maximum on my skin, and smells like a piece of paper, scented with a lemony citrus and pepper. Recommended if you're an aristocrat with plenty of money to burn, because that's exactly what you'll smell like wearing this.

and Penhaligon's are never usually shy on the lavender front, not with their perfumes i have with that note. We are official dealers of all the brands on the site, guaranteeing the highest quality and originality of the products. I quite like the pepper in this one, it makes it interesting in what otherwise would be a very safe option. Anyway, you read correctly that this was one of dear old Winston Churchill's favourite perfumes, and it is actually named after the stately home of his birth.

Fresh lemons are accompanied by crisp lime and soft bergamot for a well-rounded and complex opening. I would dance around and take my time cleaning thoroughly and enjoying the scent of their strongly scented lavender scented soap. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). That strong taste of lemon when you bite through the candy shell is exactly what I am reminded up when I smell this.

I appreciate this fragrance is listed as a gentlemannish item and still popular, although it is old fashioned. If you are a fan of Blenheim Bouquet's top notes, however, the good news is that they do stick around to mingle with the pine and black pepper. After a short while, the wearer will begin to experience the musky base that is comprised of labdanum and cedarwood. This fragrance is a tribute of 1902 to the dukes of Marlborough and their Blenheim Palace, donated in 1704 by Queen Anne to John Churchill, first duke of Marlborough, as a reward for the homonymous victory against the French.

Literally, that's what Penhaligon's legendary and storied Blenheim Bouquet smells like on my skin: Paper, lemony citrus and pepper. all of the "Missing" photocopy signs pasted all over every surface that nobody ever had the courage to remove, so they just disintegrated over time, while we walked by them, day in, day out, and watched.

The Fragrance starts off with a very citrus/lemon note and then as if by magic turns into a stunning incense smell not unlike the burning incense you find in a Church. In Bouquets case, I find it harsh, acidic and unbalanced, very intrusive and taking all the bad qualities of each scent and exalting them, instead of the good qualities of each ingredient, and this is one of the many that has that ingredient I can't pinpoint but I always detect and that I find disagreeable. Whilst no-one finds Blenheim Bouquet offensive to the senses, it did receive more negative comments that I’d like to admit. The classic fresh citrus perfume, created originally for the Duke of Marlborough, now in a luxurious hand and body lotion.

There is a prominent lemon/lime opening with a good amount of pine, and now that it's beginning to dry down I can pick up some of the pepper. The opening citrus notes do not last very long, although they're wonderful for the time they're there. As the citrus settles, the heart quickly emerges, which consists of some aromatic lavender and sharp pine.

This purely addictive combination is fresh, warm and persistent, halfway between the worlds of perfumery and aromatherapy.
