That aside I’m still, obviously, a major fan of this book that I’d like everyone to read right away! I certainly consider Her Right Foot his informational fiction picture book about the Statue of Liberty, to be one of the greats.The only thing I would change is take out the political jabs as I read to escape that type of attitudes from either side but otherwise I’d say take a chance on this one if a romantic sci-fi sounds fun. I’m usually a bit hesitant to pick up books dealing with multiverses as some can be really confusing but I sure was glad that I decided to take a chance with The Impossible Us by Sarah Lotz. A heartbreaking relationship ensues where Nick engages with a group of oddballs who have some off-the-grid notions about space-time, and what rules should apply when contact is achieved. From the beginning of the novel, it is clear that Lucy is a sensible girl, serious about her future, and a good daughter and friend.
