There are so many great secondary characters in Still, we get to see Rhyson and Kai, Qwest, Jade, Marlon's Mom. Mrs. O’Malley that I Luv!! I need that recipe for her collards!! lol and so many others that we met on Grip. I have to admit that I stumbled upon this series way to late for my reader freak heart/mind/soul / etc etc etc!!!! There are no words to describe how perfect are these books, how speechless this series will made You feel !!! Grip is the lesson for our humanity, how to love and how to believe that we are worthy. I can easily tell that Kennedy Ryan is a huge fan and admirer of poetry. Her prose feels just like that. Poetry. Her words flows with ease, gently pulls my along like a wave and I'm immersed. I'm in another world, the world of Kennedy Ryan and that's definitely the place to be.

Add Grip Trilogy Box Set to Goodreads: https://bit.ly/2EK9XAa Win a Limited Edition Grip Trilogy Box Set! This is just what I needed to read. After how emotional I was with Still I loved reading this. To see what was going on in these two short stories and to see what was happening in Grip and Bristol's life was everything I had hoped for. They're both honest and eloquent when it comes to what they want and need from one another in their relationship. They've matured so much and it shows in their actions. Their love surpass anything and there aren't anything they won't do for one another. They both bravely dive into new challenges. Bristol wants and tries wholeheartedly to understand Grip and his culture. To be a part of his world. Grip uses his fame to educate himself so he can help others who are in need. They both kept surprising me and I fell more in love and in awe of them. Still- I k now I sound like a broken record but what I really loved about the book, this series, is the connection that these two characters feel for one another. Being an interracial couple comes with stigmas but Grip and Bristol don't buy into them. There are those against them, those for them, and those that placate them because they believe they won't last. The issues that they face are real, ugly, and hurtful at times but because of their deep commitment towards one another, they are able to rise above it all. It's not easy at times but they forever Feel, Trust, and Believe. I felt it, I believed it, and Grip and Bristol totally demonstrated......

Grip & Bris, wow, they are my new ultimate book couple, so much love & devotion between two sweet, poetic souls...

So many different topics that our society must deal with and unfortunately at times go undealt with left behind as if ignored they can go away. The author has done an amazing job presenting these topics and not once did I feel I was being told to feel a certain way. Both pov's regarding the issues were presented. It was not one sided. The acclaimed Grip Trilogy has been bundled into a box set for the first time, and the whole series has new covers! They finally get together and it’s better than she could have ever imagined. Every secret moment that they steal away is something that reminds her of everything that she is missing. With every hour stealing away, she knows that it is impossible to visualize a future that does not include him. She attended the University of North Carolina, located at Chapel Hill, and will forever be a Tar Heel. She graduated with her journalism degree and it was full steam ahead. She has since focused on doing writing for organizations that are not for profit. She has also dabbled in some ghost writing of the nonfiction variety. In the most recent years she began telling stories once more and working in fiction. Don't let me keep telling you about it and GO grab your copy of GRIP and I garantee you that you will love it as much as I do and will be in a MAYOR BOOK HANGOVER when you finish.

That’s not to say I didn’t experience frustration and indignation while reading the book. I had to curb the urge to toss my beloved Kindle across the room a time or two. However, that only served to make the ending all the sweeter. thank you for raising such a magnificent man. He is the man of my dreams. When I thought of my husband, I didn’t dream in color, I dreamt in character." There is a certain poetry element she brings to her storytelling ways that make her books filled with magic. In terms of contemporary romance, she is IT for me! There is a realistic element in her plotlines & characters however she adds that fantastic romance part that makes it a swoon-worthy. She is thought-provoking and intentional without hitting you on the head with her point!! Especially in this series where social justice, racism, and police brutality are a huge part of the story.

Kennedy Ryan always knew that she was going to grow up to tell stories, as many writers often do. The road to that being fulfilled has been one that she paved with the help or random jobs. The jobs would help her to support her family, keep them eating, and keep a roof over their heads and a house for them to live in. I'm not sure I can put all my feelings here without giving too much away or giving any spoilers but I'm going to try... It's been a few days since I've finished Still, it was hard to write a review of such an amazing book..I aspire to be many things,” she finally says, “but there is nothing I will ever do that will make me prouder than being your wife.” Don't wait to read this series, it's some of the absolute best writing I've ever read and it's content should be shared by all...
