Description

The MEDUSA project consists of installing a state-of-the-art, high capacity optical-fiber submarine cable that connects five Mediterranean EU countries (Cyprus, France, Italy, Portugal, and Spain) with four countries from the EU's Southern Neighbourhood (Algeria, Egypt, Morocco, and Tunisia). The MEDUSA cable will be 7,100 km long in total and will include around twelve landing points in nine EU and Southern Neighbourhood countries. Medusa cable route, Source: AFR-IX I have to be honest here - this unique and uber-interesting spin on the Medusa story has got me excited! I love retellings, and the ones thematically related to any mythology are a must-read for me. Therefore, this one was no exception to the rule. The communal area includes lounge, fully functional kitchen/diner and garden with patio area, and the project has three bathrooms two of which are wet rooms. The campaign was equally important in the history of the American Poetry as it was heralded and promoted by the poems written by many suffragists who were part of that defining movement. This fact confirms the urgency and the necessity of the poetry and the salient role creative arts play in defining society at large.

Duties include developing independent living skills such as shopping, budgeting, washing clothes, cooking, attending professional appointments, leisure activities, etc. I wasn’t expecting Ketty to do the narration of this book- I thought the series would be narrated by Nico throughout- but it gave a real insight into how Ketty was feeling about Ed and Nico. It also helped the story, seeing as the hostage was Ketty’s brother. I really got to know her character more, and understood her visions more because of that. I really loved her bond with her brother and how she would even stay with him when he had a bomb ready to go off in five minutes strapped to his chest. I think I got to know Dylan and Ed a lot better, too, as Ketty had very different relationships with them compared to Nico’s. In fact, I came to dislike Dylan as she seemed like a bit of a bully towards Ketty. But at the end, she got more likeable. As for Ed- I felt so sympathetic for him throughout. Although he didn’t speak about Ketty’s new relationship with Nico, I could tell he was heartbroken… and yet he still went out of his way to help her. It was so sweet. The two main characters, Kyrie and Medusa, were both really fun and had a great dynamic. Kyrie is a really fun perspective, and I loved Lou Wilham’s version of Medusa. I was a little bit disappointed that the romance between them didn’t quite come into fruition, especially when it was such a great slow-burn subplot. If it hadn’t been labelled as LGBT Romance I wouldn’t have known that they got together at the end. That being said, the main storyline is definitely the mystery, and both characters are openly queer throughout so it didn’t detract from the overall book very much.

Minimum Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent qualifications to Level 3 Diploma for Residential ChildcareChildren, young people and families Practitioner Level 4, if you do not have this qualification, we will support you to achieve this I really really REALLY hope that Dylan and Ed get together at the end, because she was acting sorta friendly towards him at the end of the book. *Fingers crossed*

Ed is my all-time favourite character, even though in every book except this one he's been portrayed as really weedy. I'm super happy that he got the shiny yellow cover all to himself XD I'm also really glad that he decided to change his outlook on things and became more assertive, and that he finally got a girl that was actually willing to stay with him (I do like Ketty, but I was really sad when I found out that they used to go out and that she broke up with him for someone as showy as Nico!). I also really liked Luz, and I wished that she'd lived... I would still recommend it though, as it was fun and I laughed a lot with Kyrie and Medusa (and Elijah 😂.

None of the characters we that interesting, even thought they have special powers. These powers are Telekinesis, Visions, Mid-reading and immunity to damage. With 4 teenagers having to deal with these powers, as well a school and having to do missions with these powers, you would have thought that this would have made an awesome combination. The MEDUSA cable system will be owned by AFR-IX telecom, an infrastructure and telecommunications operator founded in 2013 with European capital. and supplied by Alcatel Submarine Networks (ASN). It is expected to be operational between the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025, with the activation of the first phase connecting Lisbon, Barcelona and Marseille. It will feature up to 24 fiber pairs with a capacity of 20 Tbps per fiber pair for a total system capacity up to 480Tbps, and a design life of 25 years. I loved the concept of the world in The Medusa Project, done exceptionally well, transporting me to ancient times with a modern-era spin and allowing me to see the different, more human, side of the Greek gods and their subjects (sort of speak). The dark perspective and the mystery intertwined with the possible love story are, in my opinion, the sparks that set the mood and the tone right.

So … noodles?” Medusa prompted, still feeling strangely bereft and more concerned now than ever about laying her fate in the hands of someone who needed noodles to solve a murder. But here's my issue with it. Being a novella, the plot was at times, a bit too fast. To me, the ending was a bit disappointing. Perhaps if there had been more time and motive to properly establish the villain, it would have been much more impactful. The Medusa Project exceeds minimum standards in residential care and the requirements of the Lewisham Children’s Social Care-PPF. It is essential that you have experience and knowledge in relational working with complex trauma, and you must have experience working as a mental health support worker with young people. The Medusa Project follows agent Kyrie and Medusa in their plight to clear Medusa for the murders that are taking place and all evidence points to her. Kyrie and Medusa are on the down low to prove her innocence.
