Description

This 3-Pin switch's base is engineered with a hollowed-out light position design to offer SMD-LED light compatibility and incorporates an MX stem structure to be compatible with most mechanical keyboards on the market. In terms of overall sound, while the Kailh Pro Light Greens are slightly higher pitched than that of the Mute Jades, they are surprisingly similar in terms of overall volume and the closest comparison out of this initial comparison list. Easy to Use】Utilizing the already popular Cherry MX form, Kailh switches provide an easy transition so you don’t have to let go of your existing keycap collection.

Regarding the stem wobble, it is also no surprise to many people that the Kailh Box Mute Jades also beat out the Cherry MX Blue switches in both N/S and E/W directions.

Aside from the Kailh Box regular switches, the Box Jade, Box Navy and Box Cream also join the family.

Any K series (Gateron Mechanical Hot-Swappable or Keychron Mechanical Hot-Swappable versions only), K Pro series (Normal-profile versions only), C and C Pro series (Hot-Swappable versions only), V series, Q series and Q Pro series Keychron keyboards. The Box Mute Jades feature five pin, opaque white bottom housings, clear top housings, and a “silver grey” stem with the dustproof box-style enclosure. Moving interior to the top housings, we will work from least interesting details to the most interesting ones. MKUltra is a US vendor that truly fills all the gaps other vendors simply don’t offer and is continuing to expand their switch and switch related peripherals by the day.

Initially it was rather disappointing, but once the latest driver was installed it was quite impressive. Perhaps some of my disappointment in how these turned out was based in the fact that a small portion of my batch seemingly deviated from expectations due to batch variability and instead produced something much more in line with what I had thought Box Mute Jades would be instead of their intended performance. The first thing I noticed was that the Navies had a much more cushioned feel to them and the Jades had a more pronounced tactile bump (I would attribute this to the differences in the spring weights as generally speaking a lighter spring allows the bump to be more pronounced).Do I think it has significant potential to be improved in the years ahead to provide something truly unique?

These babies are holy dang tactile, I used other words when describing to friends but I think holy dang is pretty good. Reminds me more of MX Clear but more tactile (I sold my MX Clear board so I can’t compare the two right now). I believe if you are able to have the finger stamina to type on these switches, you'll find them very satisfying, just as I did. The slider rails on the sides of the switches have an almost concave like top to them in which the edges of the rails stick out slightly higher than the center in a pointed fashion, making them hard to make Measurement F. This image also demonstrates the ‘hollow sider rail’ design common to that of other, previous Kailh Box style switches. And because of this I would personally recommend a harder (or less universal) plate when building with these switches. In terms of stem wobble, these two switches are also surprisingly close to one another, both slightly edging out previous Kailh Box switches designs by a thin margin. I also changed the aluminum plate to a polycarbonate one and it really brings out the RGB so if you want brighter RBG switching the plate to an FR4/PC will help with that. Keeping in mind that I hardly, if ever, get around to opening and inspecting Box style switches, all of the traditional components of the stem that I am aware of are present.
