Sometimes it’s not fair how good Sarah Blue is at writing secondary characters and making you yearn for their own books. But seriously, I just need more Lucifer/Lilith, I know she’d slay us all with the most amazing kinky yet soft story for these two.

Ahhh! So this was a super fun spooky season read. I really enjoyed Charming Your Dad; it just hit the spot with excellent spice, great characters and paranormal goodness. Theodore Roethke, ‘ My Papa’s Waltz’. In this poem, whose rhythm echoes that of a waltz dance, Roethke recalls the time he danced with his father in their kitchen. He remembers the smell of whiskey on his father’s breath and his mother’s disapproving stares as she looks on. I really liked the overall story. The world-building - demon/witch aspects were interesting. Blair was a riot, and I loved that she was a strong and capable FMC who just wanted love and for someone to take care of her for once. Stevie was a sweetheart and, every now and then, would surprise me with some hilarious lines. And Dax was the sweetest daddy-dom simp you’ll ever meet. So begins this poem written to the tune of ‘The Weaver and His Shuttle, O’, in which Burns reflects on the fact that he, like his father, was bred for labour and toil. Except Blair has some serious explaining to do when passion turns into something real.

Blair and Dax together are explosive. I was waiting for my kindle to melt. What started as revenge sex turned into something so much more. I, for one, enjoyed their journey. One of the best revenge books I have read. Both are more interconnected than they think. That plot twist was a pleasant surprise. This isn’t me. I don’t call men daddy, I don’t let them see the real me. I’m all hard shells, strap-ons, and a good time. When certain things were revealed, they did feel a little rushed. Some things I’ve been anticipating throughout the book as well as some surprising revelations just didn’t have the development I wanted from it and was kind of a let down. when blair’s boyfriend cheats on her with another witch from her coven who btw tried to kill her👀👀, she is furious and wants revenge👹👹👹
