The dab on pure parfum is sweeter and more of a long lasting floral powder with a distinct benzoin note and plenty of amber. This beautiful and enchanting composition opens up with accords of delicate green lilac and aromatic Sicilian lemon leaves which slowly lead to the heart of the fragrance, made of lush wisteria blossom, revitalizing white tea leaves, peach blossom and sensual peony.

The reformulated also is much woodier throughout, and comes across as a woody floral, whereas the vintage is more a floral aldehyde.It is a bold yet elegant floral bouquet, brightened up top by citrus and Chanel-like aldehydes, becoming wonderfully woody as it progresses.

But today, digging through (way too many) reserve samples, I found the vintage one of this and without looking, first note I got was peaches!It has that "oily chypre" quality that smells so fresh when combined with that heavy dose of aldehydes.
