Description

If a player can't play anything, they can reveal cards from the stack in their hand, counting them out in groups of three, then laying them face up while revealing only the top card. If you combine two different-coloured boxes of the Ligretto basic game up to 8 players can participate and if you use all three different boxes, you can play with up to 12 people. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). Play is fast and lively, and demands attention to the cards being played by others as well as one's own cards.

Once the scores have been calculated, each player shuffles their set of 40 cards to start a new round. You may shed cards either from the top of your Ligretto pile, from your row or by turning over the top three cards of your draw pile. A yellow 4 is placed on a yellow 3, and so on until the first player has emptied his Ligretto stack. Both card games use specially printed cards, but feature gameplay almost identical to Nerts, which is played with standard playing cards and is in turn based on Canfield, a variant of the classic Klondike Solitaire.Players score one point for each card played from their deck and subtract two points for each card left in their ligretto stack. If a player is unable to play any card, they must deal three cards from their hand and reveal only the top-most card. This does not affect your statutory rights) If items are received back damaged, or missing items we are entitled to make a charge to cover the cost of this, and thus this may affect the amount credited to you. The game completes when a player discards all cards from their Stack pile and declares "Ligretto stop!

Little bit party game, little bit hand eye coordination, little bit quick reaction but a lot of frustration and even more (almost) swear words muttered. At the start of each round, each player lays out 3-5 cards (depending on the number of players) face up in front of them to create their row; places a face-up stack of ten cards, seeing only the top card, next to their row to create their Ligretto stack; and holds the remaining cards in hand face down. The winner is the player who achieves the highest although you may choose to play a set number of rounds or first to a specific score. Each player has three cards placed on the table in front of them (post piles) along with a pile of 10 cards (blitz pile). It just sits on the game screen and doesn’t deal any cards and the app must be closed and restarted from the beginning. A deck is divided into three sets; a stack of 10, a row (of three to five cards depending on player number) and the remaining cards in the hand. Each deck is recognised by its own distinctive symbol on the reverse side; pyramids, cubes, crystals and spheres. This can bring some sharp words and argument about who played a card first so house rules might be needed for clarity.
