Finished Jordan Henderson's autobiography over the weekend and it's a great read for all LFC fans - a must read in fact. A must-read not only for Liverpool fans but for football lovers everywhere, this is the candid behind-the-scenes look into the lire of a top-flight footballer as you've never seen it before. Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. A relentless and inspiring presence, Henderson has lifted the Premier League, Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, Emirates FA Cup, UEFA Super Cup, Carabao Cup and FA Community Shield with his trademark ‘Hendo shuffle’ to cement his LFC legacy. The definitive autobiography from Liverpool captain, England star and renowned ambassador, Jordan Henderson - a must-read for every football fan.

The writing is often repetitive (in language and in content), and overall the book is pretty superficial, rarely going into much depth. Why not Give a Gift Card allowing the freedom to decide on the book that most peaks their interests? However, I’m not sure I truly learned anything about Henderson, nor the success of the Liverpool team in recent years.

Jordan Henderson is without doubt my favourite active player, and as a Liverpool fan I enjoyed reading this - he has had an amazing career and rise, overcoming many setbacks and spanning a number of dramatic events and twists during his time at Liverpool. Since then he has led the team to victory in the Champion’s League and secured the club’s first premiership title in 30 years.

Henderson began playing for Liverpool in 2011, before taking over as captain from Steven Gerrard in 2015. Penguin Michael Joseph has secured England and Liverpool footballer Jordan Henderson’s autobiography. Outside the football pitch, Jordan's won plaudits for his support for the LGBT+ community and, during Covid, for the NHS, contributing towards his appointment of an MBE in 2021. The narrative is pretty boring, and it fails to propely display his experiences when winning differents trophies.Off the field he is a fearless ambassador, with his role in backing the NHS following his work during the COVID-19 pandemic and unifying players across the Premier League to support NHS Charities Together. This book sets out why: a player who struggled with criticism and self-doubt, yet made himself the best he could be, ending up captaining Liverpool to every trophy available to them. In 2015, Jordan took the reins from Steven Gerrard, and under his captaincy Liverpool have won the Champions League and the Premier League - bringing the club its first league title in 30 years. He is the only player in history to have been named England Player of the Year at both under-21 and senior level. Henderson was at Liverpool when they nearly won the league in 2014 - indeed his absence in the last few games was probably a factor in why they didn’t - and the story then takes us through the triumphs and dramas of the Jurgen Klopp era - a real page turner. The story of Jordan's journey from Sunderland to Liverpool, and becoming one of the most successful football leaders England has seen now available in paperback. He is the only footballer to be named England Player of the Year twice, for the under 21s and then on the senior squad.
