Schwartz Chip Seasoning is expertly blended with paprika, onion and garlic for perfectly seasoned chips. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Each unique blend is designed to offer quick, easy, versatile and most importantly, inspirational solutions to everyday meals for all the family to enjoy. This adds another layer of savory to this bbq seasoning for chips, and can also be used for my dry rub for ribs.

You can also add all the ingredients to a spice jar that has an airtight lid, close the lid then shake to combine. May contain traces of cereals containing gluten, eggs, milk, nuts, soybeans, celery, sesame seeds and peanuts. This is a simple spice blend that is a copycat of those jars of seasoning for fries sold in the spice aisle at supermarkets. Since I’ve always rather enjoyed BBQ potato chips, I’m looking forward to trying this if/when I make the rutabaga fries. Make-ahead - you can easily make a double or triple batch to share with friends or family or use in other recipes.

It’s so irritating when moisture gets into a spice blend and it goes all clumpy so you can’t sprinkle it properly!Despite the name though, you can actually boost the flavour of any dish with this handy and versatile mix of herbs and spices. For the full recipe and detailed instructions, please refer to the recipe card at the bottom of the post. In regards to the seasoning, I am fine doing it beforehand if you are air frying or baking but with deep frying the seasoning tends to burn and make the oil gross. Whether it’s honey lemonade or agave lemonade, something fruity like mango lemonade (that one is even a bit sparkly) or even combined with beer in a lemon shandy, it’s my first choice to drink alongside these spicy kettle chips. In small bowl, stir together chili powder, cayenne, garlic powder, mustard powder, onion powder, paprika, and cumin.
