Description

Because these were literally models that came with their own datasheet, released as a supplemental bit to the Dark Imperium starter set. We are a small team of Warhammer Enthusiasts and miniature collectors, hoping to support and further promote the hobby. Felthius is a Death Guard Lord of Contagion and commands the Tainted Sons Warband (or/and the Tainted Cohort [Conflicting sources]). This plastic kit comes as 26 components, and is supplied with 4 40mm Round bases. Rules for these miniatures are included in the box. After years of collecting, buying and selling, building and painting, we realised that we had amassed a small library of Build Instructions, Assembly Instructions and User Guides for various Games Workshop products.

The accompanying Tainted Cohort, composed of three Blightlord Terminators, fearlessly braves intense battlefield conditions. Each member carries a unique weapon: one wields a combi-bolter and balesword, another a combi-bolter and bubotic axe, and the third a dribbling plaguespewer. Their rusted armor bears Nurgle’s repulsive marks, and the balesword-wielding Blightlord Terminator showcases grotesque bubo-covered tentacles in place of a face—a testament to Nurgle’s corruption. From the arrival of some much-awaited kits to new characters for the Angels of Death, to Necromunda’s next plastic gang, there’s a lot to look forward to – so we’ll dive right in! Designed to be as easy as possible to assemble for new hobbyists while being detailed enough for the hardiest veteran to appreciate, this set contains Lord Felthius, a Death Guard Chaos Lord in Terminator Armour and his Tainted Cohort, made up of 3 Blightlord Terminators. Push-fit, with no glue required, these are incredibly straightforward to put together, and come on pre-coloured green plastic sprues.Using a small brush, carefully paint the faces of Lord Felthius and the Blightlord Terminators. Start with a base color like Bugman’s Glow for the flesh, and then add highlights with a lighter tone such as Cadian Fleshtone. Don’t forget to paint the eyes using a small dot of Mephiston Red for a sinister look.

Lord Felthius is a particularly fine example of a Chaos Lord who truly loves his work despite (or possibly because of) his pitted, rotting Terminator armour, his face is modelled in a cheerful rictus, staring proudly at the plague censer held aloft in his right hand which is dripping viscous fluids of an unpleasantly diseased nature. His armour is decorated with chainmail, furs and a boil-covered cloak, and the manreaper in his left hand features connectors and pipes that allow it to secrete diseased fluids that infect everything it touches.Using a lighter shade, like Nurgling Green, apply a drybrushing technique to highlight the edges and raised areas of the armor. Dip your brush lightly in the paint, then wipe off the excess on a tissue. Gently brush over the armor, catching the raised surfaces. This will add dimension to the miniatures. I liked the look of the models, but why aren't rules in the new codex if this is a reprinted existing model?

As a returning player to 9th, I just bought the DG codex (I think it's for 9th - it has that new off-centre logo on it). I can't see any data sheets for Lord Felthius. Completing the miniatures are three additional details on the bases. One Nurgling pulls the pin from a grenade, embodying the Death Guard’s chaotic nature. Another wears a sinister grin, reveling in the horrors of battle. Lastly, a mass of trembling tentacles serves as a reminder of the mutations caused by Nurgle’s blessings. What’s in the Lord Felthius and the Tainted Cohort boxThere are even 3 extra little pieces of detail for the bases of these miniatures 3 Nurglings, 1 pulling the pin from a grenade, 1 with a rather sinister grin and 1 which is little more than a quivering, meaty clump of tentacles. x26 plastic components, with which you can assemble one Lord Felthius, Lord of Contagion, and three Blightlord Terminators Includes a step-by-step user guide for how to build Lord Felthius and the Tainted Cohort, from plastic sprue, through to a completed model which is fully assembled and ready to paint. The Warhammer 40,000 Open Day weekend is happening right now, and we’ve got some exciting reveals for those of you who can’t make it in person.

Lord Felthius is a particularly fine example of a Chaos Lord who truly loves his work – despite (or possibly because of) his pitted, rotting Terminator armour, his face is modelled in a cheerful rictus, staring proudly at the plague censer held aloft in his right hand which is dripping viscous fluids of an unpleasantly diseased nature. His armour is decorated with chainmail, furs and a boil-covered cloak, and the manreaper in his left hand features connectors and pipes that allow it to secrete diseased fluids that infect everything it touches. Its very much like what happened with Dark Vengeance and Lord Krannon. They gave us a book, even a supplemental codex, but instead of making him an actual unique character, they made it so all his wargear could be given to a normal lord... There are even 3 extra little pieces of detail for the bases of these miniatures – 3 Nurglings, 1 pulling the pin from a grenade, 1 with a rather sinister grin and 1 which is little more than a quivering, meaty clump of tentacles. Our goal is to build upon and consolidate the great work already being done by other community members across various forums, reddit threads, and hobby blogs, and bring together a comprehensive library of all these useful Build Instruction booklets. The kit is comprised of 26 plastic components, with which you can assemble one Lord Felthius, Lord of Contagion, and three Blightlord Terminators. The kit is supplied with 4x Citadel 40mm Round Bases. These models are push-fit and do not require glue to assemble. If he's a Lord of Contagion - fair enough, but what is the point of 3 Blightlord Terminators that have to be in groups of 5 minimum. There's no entry for a Lord to have a cohort. Many and varied are the diseased champions who lead the Death Guard to war. From single colonies, through vectoriums and sepsis cohorts, right up to the plague companies and the ships of the Plague Fleets, Death Guard Lords hold positions of command throughout the Traitor Legion’s ranks – Lord Felthius, clad in Terminator armour and accompanied by his three-strong Tainted Cohort, is a notable example.
