Here’s the value breakdown of the four new Warhammer 40k Boarding Patrol boxes for Adeptus Mechanicus, Daemons, Genestealer Cults , and Death Guard! Lead from the front with a powerful Captain in Gravis Armour wielding a boltstorm gauntlet and a choice of fearsome melee weapons – ideal for contesting the confines of an enemy vessel. He’s joined at close quarters by 10 Assault Intercessors, each armed with a chainsword and heavy bolt pistol, who can be split into squads of five for navigating tight passageways. A squad of five Heavy Intercessors provide supporting firepower with a variety of heavy bolt weaponry, their armoured bulk warding off breachers as they flood whole corridors with a hail of death. Finally, the Death Guard heed Abaddon’s call, with an obdurate if slimy Boarding Patrol led by a Lord of Virulence. He’s joined by a bodyguard of three Deathshroud Terminators, as well as 10 versatile Plague Marines – three of which are taken from the much-sought-after Plague Marine Reinforcements set.

Leading this formidable force is a Captain in Gravis Armour, an imposing figure armed with a boltstorm gauntlet and a choice of brutal melee weapons – perfectly suited for dominating the tight corridors of enemy vessels. Accompanying the Captain are 10 Assault Intercessors, each wielding a chainsword and heavy bolt pistol. These versatile warriors can be organized into two squads of five, adept at navigating the cramped confines of spacecraft. Additionally, a squad of five Heavy Intercessors adds supporting firepower with a range of heavy bolt weaponry, their armored bulk serving as a bulwark against any breaching threats, while unleashing a storm of lethal projectiles through corridors. Boarding Patrol: Space Marines Datasheets It’s time to see what the Aeldari bring to the tabletop. Below, we have their points and optional upgrades calculated. Bring the light of the Emperor to the void with Boarding Patrol: Adepta Sororitas, scouring the Arks of Omen with bolt, flame, and melta. A devout Canoness leads five Celestian Sacresants, 10 Sisters Repentia, and 10 Battle Sisters into the breach, making this a durable fighting force with plenty of power armour and some chainsword punch.

Is the Space Marines Boarding Patrol Box Worth it?

Boarding Patrol: Chaos Space Marines provides a brutal force of Heretic Astartes infantry, perfectly suited to ripping foes apart in games of Warhammer 40,000 – especially in the dense and deadly Boarding Action missions detailed in the Arks of Omen series – and will save you money compared to buying the kits individually. As we said, this has a bit of a random assortment of models, but the value is definitely there! This actually rivals some of the better boxes from Christmas, so if you need all the models inside, this is totally worth grabbing, as you basically get two boxes of Possessed for free! It also contains the new Daemon Prince, which is quite pricey to grab on its own, so that’s very nice. This boxed set focuses on an elite strike force of Space Marines, including miniatures that are available here for the first time. Leading the charge is a Primaris Lieutenant, who can be customised with a choice of cosmetic parts and a variety of weapon options – his left hand grips a plasma pistol, heavy bolt pistol, or a bolt rifle with one of three configurations, while his right hand can wield a power fist or a power sword, or simply gesture to a tactical goal. The only problem? Everyone else wants in on the action, and now the whole galaxy is boarding the Arks of Omen in search of glory, treasure, or just a big punch-up. In fact, four more Boarding Patrol boxes are preparing for launch in the near future – and only one of them might be said to have the Emperor’s best interests at heart… While a case of the sniffles or festering pustules are not the kind of blessings you’d want to receive from Nurgle, your bank balance will definitely appreciate these savings at almost 50% off the total models if bought individually. The savings are practically on par with Boarding Patrol: Chaos Space Marines – and that had Abaddon the Despoiler in it. Though comparatively, Boarding Patrol: Death Guard has less models in it, the infantry and elite units have much higher points value (and general play value) than the 20 cultists in the Chaos box. Loremasters meanwhile investigates the most degenerate of the Traitor Legions – the Emperor’s Children. Worldwide prices have been inferred from similar-priced boxed sets. Boarding Patrol: Chaos Space Marines – Price Value & Savings SummaryTwo squads of three highly customisable Tyranid Warriors provide an adaptable, formidable core to claim the Ark. Meanwhile, eight fast-moving Genestealers – fielded as a squad of five – act as an insidious vanguard to a towering Broodlord. The (tweaked) Agents of the Imperium ability allows Navy Breachers to join up with any IMPERIUM Boarding Patrol – appropriate, as it’s their job – and means they won’t even disrupt the Chapter playbook. Chaos Daemons have – appropriately, given the arrival of Angron – manifested as a huffing and slavering crash of Khornate nightmares. 10 Bloodletters and 10 Flesh Hounds are led by Khorne’s favourite hunter – Karanak, the Hound of Vengeance. In the cramped confines of a space hulk, these frenzied killers will close the distance between enemy guns with warp-flushed speed and savagery. Chaos Space Marines are right at home on the claustrophobic corridors of a space hulk, and we’re not even convinced the Thousand Sons register much of the weirdness going on given the forces they tamper with. This Boarding Patrol pairs two Chaos Spawn with 20 Rubric Marines, bringing an impressive number of bodies and a pair of pskyers onto the board while the Spawn make a right mess of anything they encounter. Next steps for this one? I’d grab the Boarding Patrol box for the Chaos Space Marines and tact in those 630 points right off the bat. That will bring you up to 1375 + wargear. Plus, it will give you some much needed troop support. If you want to go up to a full 2000 point army you’ve got room to work with. Maybe a Land Raider to ferry your units and deliver a payload of Possessed to your enemy’s face?
