If you had to list the cultural definers of contemporary Irishness, you'd include Seamus Heaney, Van Morrison, maybe The Pogues and definitely Michael Flatley. Loved every minute of it, time flew by and the show was over, couldn't believe it, wonderfull show don't mind seeing it all over agian, thank you I personally think they could of gave us an offer of swapping the show date that i attended for a different day in which Michael Flatley were to perform..

I understand his father had passed away and was attending his fathers funeral in Chicago so therefore he couldn't make the show . .Choreographed and directed by Michael Flatley, 40 of the world’s most outstanding young dancers and musicians take to the stage delivering electrifying performances that bring audiences to their feet night after night. Lord of the Dance had preview shows at the Point Theatre in Dublin from 28 June to 1 July 1996. The show staged a premiere performance on 27 June 1996 – the video was filmed on 2 July 1996. Michael: “It is my last performance! And what a great place here for me! I have always loved the West End since I was a little boy. I have had a place in London since 1996…it is now an honour to bring new young people, young stars to the stage. They have unbelievable talent and the world needs to see it. I am delighted to bring it to the London Palladium.” Q: What has been your career high? This show was a great blend of light and shade, a mix of toe-tapping, thunder-clapping with soft shoes and butterflies. Such energetic dancing and vibrant sets an enjoyable evening. Michael Flatley’s Lord of the Dance: Dangerous Games showcases exciting and ground-breaking new technology, world champion acrobats and the greatest team of Irish Dancers the world has seen.

The show is due to open on Saturday 10 October 2015 and is scheduled to run through to 3 January at the Playhouse Theatre in London’s West End.Following two hugely successful UK and Ireland tours, THE ADDAMS FAMILY is heading to the West End for the first time for two nights only. An amazing couple of hours entertainment, the dancing amazing, costumes brilliant. A real tonic and a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Would defo recommend to anyone. The costumes were amazing, vibrant and colourful. Loved the dancing; so fast at time, truly awe-inspiring.
