Description

Korg shall not be obliged to provide support services for any Third Party Software supplied (whether relating to operating methods, defects, or otherwise).

In addition to the 16 trigger pads, the nanoPAD2 features an integrated X-Y touchpad. This versatile touchpad can be used to control a variety of parameters. You can use the touchpad to create musical phrases on the fly, perfect for live performances as well as music production. The full feature-set of the original nanoSeries could only be accessed via the Kontrol Editor software, and this is still the case. There are a few changes for the new devices, though. Korg provides no warranty in relation to any Third Party Software supplied and all warranties whether express or implied as to the condition, quality, performance, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the Third Party Software or any part of the same are (in so far as may be permitted by law) hereby excluded.

Features

It has some cool features like the touchpad you can use for arpeggiating the drums, although it's mainly a joke feature. The arpeggiating is within the pads and isn't synced to MIDI so the arpeggiated patterns aren't synced to the tempo of the song you're playing and you can't change the arpeggiation tempo anyway as far as I know. Korg furthermore disclaims all responsibilities for direct, derivative, collateral or consequential damages caused by the use of or the inability of using the Third Party Software (including but not limited to damage of data, lost commercial profit, interruption of work, lost commercial information), regardless of the degree of damages, and even if Korg was aware of the possibility of such damages in advance.

Korg reserves the right to make modifications to the Licensed Program and to the support services set out in clause 7 of this agreement (referred to in this agreement as “the Services”) without prior notification to you. There are four bank select buttons, making a total of 64 'virtual' pads. With each able to trigger up to four notes at once (ie, chords), the nanoPad has melodic potential aplenty. Editor's choice Please note that this extended warranty is currently only available on products sold within the UK, EU or EEA, and is subject to the terms and conditions as detailed on the extended warranty certificate provided. We must edit individual samples (“sounds” or sound files) from our continuous audio recordings (cut/trim silence + fade-in/fade-out + normalization) with sample (audio) editor such as Audacity, Wavosaur, SoundForge, or many DAWs which come with built-in (integrated) audio editing capability today. STAGE 3: Sample Mapping The ‘Gate Arp’ function is taken from the Kaossilator pro, transmitting note data based on tempo. It also includes handy functions such as tap tempo and tempo sync for added versatility. Combining the various modes allows you to experiment with your sounds, perfect for live performances. Robust and Highly Portable Design

Korg nanoPAD2 USB MIDI Controller, Black Overview

Supported Computer: Apple Macintosh with USB port, satisfying the operating requirements of Mac OS X or Apple Macintosh with PowerPC supported If any part of this Agreement is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable then such part shall be severed from the remainder of this Agreement which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law. In the event that Third Party Software is supplied, you agree to be bound by and to observe any terms and conditions relating to the use of such Third Party Software. The ‘Touch Scale’ function allows you to play phrases on the touchpad, similar to the Kaossilator. It gives you the option to choose from sixteen different scales, as well as the ability to specify the root key and note range.

All references to the Licensed Program shall mean the object code only of the program(s) comprising the Licensed Program. Drumlogue is incredibly easy to use – having been designed with simplicity and accessibility in mind. The most important parameters for the main drum parts have dedicated knobs on the front panel for on-the-fly adjustments, as well as dedicated volume pots for each part to speed up the mixing process. The Korg nanoPAD2 the perfect tool for finger-drumming and inputting sequences into your selected DAW. The streamline design features 16 pads in total, with each pad featuring velocity sensitivity for dynamic expression. Not only is the nanoPAD2 ideal for finger-drumming, it can be used to trigger one-shot samples or create melodies from instrument sounds. Control Parameters With X-Y Touchpad However, the Gear4music extended warranty scheme provides an enhanced service, and is designed to offer a higher level of protection than many 'free' warranties offered by some retailers and manufacturers. We must, also, tell our nanoPAD midi controller which notes to trigger that will correspond to desired TRG pad (note), respectively. For example, when you strike the first pad on the left bottom side, it will or should trigger note C4 or A#4 or Db5 inside TRG software module – you get the idea! For that part, we must use KORG Kontrol Editor software. STAGE 4: Finally playing :) The original nanoSeries turned out to be nifty companions for Apple's iPad, and this holds true. Apps that support Core MIDI (eg, GarageBand and Akai SynthStation) should work just fine. It almost goes without saying that Drumlogue easily syncs with other gear via the MIDI in/out, sync in/out, or via USB MIDI.
