As the world’s first carbon negative brewery, Brewdog is now going a step further. Certified as a B-Corp and restoring their very own forest (to ensure long term natural carbon offsetting), their work with MyCarbon on MEGA report 3.0 is leading a shift in sustainability strategy; from offsetting to reduction. Partnering with MyCarbon, they embarked on an initiative to understand and mitigate the carbon footprint of their 3-4 day event. This involved calculating the GHG emissions of all aspects of the conference, excluding delegate travel, but including elements like delegate catering and hotel stays. Throughout the project, Leah was extremely engaging, supportive and collaborative, always listening to my ideas and incorporating them into the final product. Her knowledge of how to measure carbon emissions in a school was exceptional, and she and her team expertly defined the various scope emissions and emphasised the importance of gaining a clear understanding of reporting."
