I tested it with generous six sprays on my wrist, but all I could smell was rotten grass. I waited 5 minutes and the smell turned into that of a generic sweet vanilla fragrance. After 10 minutes the smell was completely gone.

The normal ch men has become one of my favourites for spring. The dna is clearly visible here, similar sweet but with a darker undercoating. The first time I smelled it I knew instantly that this was different, original and unique. My next experience is of wood, of soft spice, and delightful floral. Similarly, you may also identify a few aromatic notes such as thyme and rosemary. However, these are very faint and quite downplayed. In fact, I would say they’re closer to echoes of the lavender experienced in the head rather than individual expressions in the heart. Base Notes However, I believe that it bears an overall closer resemblance to the bitter grapefruit citrus. There’s a hint of oozing and succulent honey as well as aromatic lavender that just softens the edge and adds a crisp, fresh sensation. I am still happy to have bought CHMP, and I am sure this has to do with some weird circumstances that should evolve, I hope.

Hm, when I bought this fragrance I admittedly was influenced by the exorbitant rating here. But if you write that the performance of CH Men Privé is bad, I'd like to smell it with a perfume that he thinks is "performant"! ;-) In my opinion (sorry) only eau the perfume goes over it, because I can still perceive this fragrance even after showering.

You only get a couple of hours of really being able to enjoy this fragrance before it starts to fade away to a subtle, skin scent. It's a mixture dominated by leather, sugar, vanilla, and amber. I get more leather in the opening and when it dries down, it's sweeter and the vanilla especially is more front-and-center.

They way it blends in with the sweet leather accord is amazing. It feels so youthful and invigorating. The clean, fresh smelling notes like grapefruit, lavender, sage and dirty, spicy notes like leather and whiskey. Tonka bean gives the whole thing a certain mass suitability. I got the original red ribbon version. Apparently a lot of people prefer this as it has been reformulated, but whatever, I won't get into that. I did not ask anyone if they could smell it on me, but I am sure the problem is my nose. Or maybe I bought a flask of water!
