In 2011, BBC Online reported that performer Jamie Moakes was trying to create "a new commodity, one to replace gold, silver and copper", by buying as many Ram Man figures as possible. [22] Ram Man was voted No.9 in The 10 Most Unfortunate Masters Of The Universe Toys by Io9. [23] Weldon, Glen (November 11, 2022). "Kevin Conroy, who died at 66, was maybe the greatest performer of Batman ever". NPR.

Dekker (voiced by Blu Mankuma) was originally a mercenary from the Dunes of Doom who sided with King Miro during the Great Unrest. When working for King Miro, Dekker trained the palace guards and met Duncan who Dekker took on as an apprentice. Dekker later retired to life as a fisherman on Orkos Island and had passed his Man-At-Arms title to Duncan. He does occasionally help the Masters of the Universe in their fight against the forces of evil. King Randor is the ruler of Eternia, son of King Miro, husband to Queen Marlena, and father of Prince Adam and Princess Adora. In the Masters of the Universe Classics toyline, Jaxton was an Etherian peasant who was one of three gladiators captured by Hordak and thrown into the experimental matrix which grafted cybernetic parts to him. He later escaped to Eternia and sided with He-Man.

5. Battle Cat

By the time the Filmation series was being developed, He-Man's origins had been revised as follows: his true identity is Prince Adam of Eternia, son of King Randor and Queen Marlena who live in the palace of Eternos along with Adam and the rest of their inner circle. The Queen, originally Captain Marlena Glenn, was a lost astronaut from the planet Earth. The Sorceress of Castle Grayskull endows Prince Adam with the power to transform into He-Man, which Adam does by holding aloft his Power Sword and proclaiming: "By the power of Grayskull..." In Masters of the Universe: Revelation, Adam transforms into Savage He-Man (vocal effects provided by Dee Bradley Baker) who is inspired by Oo-Larr when he channeled the transformation without the sword. [43] [44] Plasmar [ edit ]

The Masters, minus Ram Ma'am, charge into Skeletor's lair. Skeletor uses his Havoc powers to turn his minions into the Dark Masters: Evil-Lyn, Trap-Jaw and Beast Man. While the Masters fight the Dark Masters one-on-one, their new powers make them an equal match for the team. He-Man battles Skeletor, but Skeletor manages to break the Sword of Power in half, cutting the Masters off from the Power of Grayskull. Things only get worse when Skeletor brainwashes General Dolos and takes control of the Red Legion. The episode ends with the Masters being dunked in a pit of pure Havoc to corrupt them. In the Masters of the Universe Classics toyline, Clamp Champ's real name is Raenius. He started out as King Randor's bodyguard before becoming the new Man-At-Arms after Duncan was turned into a Snake Man. Castle Grayskull re-emerges in Avion, but tensions arise when the Masters are confronted by the hot-headed and arrogant king of the Avion, Stratos. With Eldress missing, Adam challenges Stratos to a sacred Avion trial to protect the Castle. Meanwhile, Teela, Randor, and Ork-0 sneak around the city, looking for "the King of the Lower Wards," Man-E-Faces.It should also be noted that He-Man, along with all of the early figures (bar a few exceptions), was originally released with a hollow rubber 'squeezable' head. In the later days of the line, the He-Man figure, as with a number of the early figures, was altered to have a solid head. The soft head version is the far more common of the two, with the hard head version being relatively scarce. Thunder Punch He-Man and Flying Fists He-Man were released with hard heads; Battle Armor He-Man, like the original version, was originally released with a soft head, but later also appeared with a hard head. Not all countries of production adopted the later hard head alteration. Cringer and Battle Cat are voiced by Alan Oppenheimer in the 1980s series, Stephen Root in Masters of the Universe: Revelation, and David Kaye in the 2021 series. Queen Veena Grayskull is married to King Grayskull one of Adam and Adora's ancestors. She is a sorceress with similar powers to the later Sorceress of Castle Grayskull where she wears bird-like attire, leg guards, and is always barefoot. Sir Laser-Lot is a knight in an enchanted blue armor wielding a laser sword, shield, and mace. Designed by Geoff Johns and sculpted by the Four Horsemen, Sir Laser-Lot was created exclusively for the Classics toyline. He was the mightiest of King Grayskull's knights on Preternia. He-Man had Sir Laser-Lot brought to the present to serve as the King's new Man-at-Arms so that he can train the King's son Dare and the Royal Guards in ancient battle techniques. Cringer was always lamenting the loss of his claws, and often felt the urge to go out hunting again. One time, he went into the jungle and found himself confronted by Poacher Bots, which captured him for R'Qazz and loaded him into a containment unit that hung from a transport vessell. Adam and Krass came to Cringer's rescue, and by emulating a game of Ram-Ball, managed to destroy the Poacher Bots, crash the ship and free Cringer.
