A useful thing to note is that when storing the wireless system for long periods, it’s best not to connect the transmitter and receiver. I hope there will be a new version where you can leave it docked all the time as that would make it absolutely perfect. If you play a guitar or bass with standard passive pickups (the most common pickup type), the WL-20 model is probably your best choice.
Boss says that you’ll get 10 hours playtime out of it, and whilst we’ve not tested the full 10 hours out, we gave it a good play through for a few hours and it remained green the whole time. The system also features cable tone simulation, reproducing the natural effect of a 10-foot/3-meter guitar cable.By using an optional PCS-20A daisy-chain cable, you’re able to power a number of BOSS compact pedals at the same time. However, in a Jazzmaster, and no doubt some other guitars, you do notice it a little more than if you were using a regular cable.
