It leaves a slight smokey after taste, now for all the whiskey snobs this won't do it for you but if like me you just want an every day sipping whiskey this will do the job.

Note: all designs may vary slightly where necessary, due to the shape and engraveable space on the chosen bottle. We weren’t shown the bottling room either because the view was completely obscured with marketing billboards due to ‘bloggers taking pictures of our upcoming releases and telling everyone before we broke the news’. That first ever visit to Bushmills, was around 9 years prior to the still house experience I mentioned.

In its striking bottle with its marmalade orange hues, Bulleit bourbon is high in rye which helps add real spice to its character. A rich, dark, Irish blend, Black Bush contains a high proportion of triple-distilled single malt, aged in Oloroso sherry casks for around 8-10 years before marriage with the grain.A staple Irish whiskey from Bushmills distillery, this expression combines an exceptionally high amount of malt whiskey married with a lighter grain whiskey, and then matured in former Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon casks before being bottled at 40% abv. Originally hailing from Ireland and enjoying the available Irish whiskeys, Hamish was drawn into the world of Scotch malt and further afield while he fell into the flavour chase rabbit-hole. Black Bush Irish Whiskey combines an exceptionally high amount of malt whiskey married with a lighter grain whiskey and then matured in former Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon casks. It was a clear Sunday in November 2019; my wife and I went to the distillery for a tour while staying along the North coast of Ireland. This may affect factors including the product style and allergen information, and we would advise that you always check the label and not solely rely on the information presented here. The high malt mash-bill presents an acceptable level of quality especially if you're used to a Speyside whisky.

From the house of Bushmills from Great Britain pours with this Bushmills Black Bush Irish Whiskey a tasty whiskey - whiskey in the sparkling glass and immediately bewitches the eye of inclined spirits lovers*innen with expressive golden yellow color. Before you go on to the ‘ah here we go with another the older whiskey was way better than the whiskey we get today trope’, I also had a sample of the Special Old Liqueur (1970s) which was the forerunner to Black Bush and sadly it tasted of soap.Bushmills BLACK BUSH Irish Whiskey combines an exceptionally high amount of malt whiskey married with a lighter grain whiskey, and then matured in former Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon casks.
