The T3 would show ‘No Signal’ for channels after performing a Smart Retune if the delivery system of their multiplex had changed. Defects or problems caused by Virus/Worm/Trojan infections or similar. Virus removal is not covered under warranty. The Manhattan T3-R comes in two versions, one with a 500GB drive, and the other 1TB. The former, as featured here, has a recording capacity of 300 SD hours. Familiar recording niceties include series-linking and live pause. Performance One feature that’s been sorely missing on the 3 series was global EPG search, something that’s been available on other Freeview boxes. However, it wasn’t possible to search within the regular EPG guide itself – to find out, for example, when a specific show is on and on which over-the-air channel.Just remember that recording – just like watching live shows – depends on your Freeview reception. So if you have bad reception, or if someone accidentally moved the indoor aerial, you might find out later that you have a garbled recording.

The Manhattan T3-R is a Freeview Play-powered set-top box with an integrated hard drive for recording. During Install the instructions for re-entering your PIN to confirm it have been improved as some customers reported they were not sure what they had to do. After the T3 had been on for more than 48 hours the internet could stop working until you went to the Internet Settings menu or restarted the T3. I have updated to the latest software, provided by Manhattan but that has not fixed any of the habitual problems. The T3-R includes Manhattan TV’s unique Watchlist feature which allows viewers to store all their on-demand TV choices in one place, regardless of which player they come from. The PVR also supports 4K Ultra HD and HDR (HDR10 and hybrid log-gamma) from YouTube and iPlayer respectively. When recording a series, the system could unnecessarily re-record an episode or create a duplicate recording of 0 seconds in length. HDMI-CEC support: when you turn on your T3-R it can now turn on your TV and change it to the right input and go to standby when you put your TV in standby. You can also choose to put your TV and any other connected devices in standby when your T3-R goes to standby. Go to: Settings > System > HDMI Options. The warranty on the Hardware is limited to the repair or replacement of defective Hardware as described in the “Limited Warranty” section above. The warranty does not cover the following: ITV will enable ITVX for the T3 and T3-R on Thursday 25th May, when it will be accessible from the Home Screen.
