I’m not especially sentimental about “the golden days” when kids ate Orange Fruities on swings all day. But The Apparition Phase finds its groove again, and when it does, it’s thrilling and intriguing in an entirely different way. I'm a sucker for weird England stories but, putting that to one side, there's still plenty for most readers to enjoy and appreciate.Chills ran down my body as I read the remaining sentences of the last page, it was a truly heart stopping moment.
