Hi - apologies for repeating myself, I replied to another similar message and now can’t find the post 🙄! In the UK, Three’s 4G Plus Hub is their most advanced 4G home broadband router. Also known as the Sercomm LTE2122GR, the 4G Plus Hub will connect to Three’s 4G mobile network. From it, it will produce a regular Wi-Fi network that your other devices are able to connect to.
Normally, a 5 metre cable is recommended for most installations (the router should be moved and placed as closely as possible to the antenna to accommodate this). Due to signal losses from the cable, having a much longer cable will cancel out any benefit of having an outdoor antenna. Connector Type Our 4G Plus Hub arrived in a Three branded box. Once you open it, the first thing you see is the router itself. Some routers like the HTC 5G Hub and Huawei AI Cube B900 do not allow you to attach an external antenna. Recommended Antenna The Three 4G Plus Hub is clearly the better of these two routers, but the main difference is simply that it will generally offer more consistently high speeds, despite not topping out any higher.

I thought you were comparing the ZTE branded (old Cat 6) to the current 3 branded D Cat 12 version. Overall, we rate the 4G Plus Hub 4.6 out of 5 – it offers an affordable, fast, easy-to-setup way to get online at home. I see that apart from certificates, there is a blob of data as part of this file which can be the actual config data. Most 4G and 5G home broadband routers will allow you to connect an external antenna. However, this functionality isn’t available on some devices like the Huawei AI Cube B900. It also isn’t possible to use an antenna with most Mi-Fi devices like the Huawei E5573bs-322.In some cases, you might not be able to get 4G home broadband, even if you’re within the 4G coverage area as shown on Three’s 4G coverage map.
