Suffices to say that the designers really knew Star Wars and did a great job to put the look and feel of Star Wars into the design of this set. It can also be combined with other Lego sets outside of the Star Wars universe to create unique and imaginative builds. At the beginning of the film, Ned Leeds has just gotten the set (he brings the Palpatine minifigure to school) and Peter Parker invites him over to his apartment to finish it.
