NUMBER OF PLAYERS AND AVERAGE PLAYTIME: This easy to learn family and adult board game can be played with 2 to 4 players. The average playtime is 45 minutes There are a few squares on the board which are of a different colour to the rest. If a piece is on these squares it is in a safety zone and therefore cannot be captured. WORK TOGETHER AND SAVE HUMANITY: Four diseases threaten the world, and your elite team of specialists must find a cure for each of them before it’s too late. Everyone must work together applying their unique character skills to benefit the team—and the world I’ve played Coppit as both a two player game and a three player game, and there’s no doubt that it works best with more players. Although, be warned, that if you try playing with your two children they will probably gang up on you and make sure you go out pretty sharpish! History of the game

The game of Coppit is simple yet exciting. Players alternate playing pieces trying to either capture the opponent’s pieces or corner them. This makes for an intense battle of wits and strategies as players try to outwit each other. The goal of the game is actually quite simple”capture your opponents more pieces then they capture yours! When you open the game up, there is a definite resemblance to Ludo, with the concept of a home base for each colour. Just looking at the board there are a few obvious differences – the biggest being that this is a game for six players rather than just four. Or at least my version is. Somewhere online I remember seeing a version for four players, but I’m damned if I can find it again.

Long term quality - Ravensburger has been making products for the hand, head, and heart for over 130 years. The second difference is that rather than go around the board in a prescribed direction, you are free to choose which direction you move your playing pieces in. Aim of the game of Coppit Since its creation, Coppit Board Game has been adapted several times in different countries and languages. For instance, in 1890 it was adapted into German as Leiter Hausen, and in Germany it was renamed Spitz Pass Auf! (Be Careful!). It can also be played with two or four players on larger boards when played tournament-style. It’s popularity continued throughout the 20th century when it appeared in popular culture such as comic shops, literature, music, and even made its way on to television shows such as Sesame Street! Pros and Cons of Playing Coppit Board GameFor ages 5-10. For 2-4 players, Market Day contained tractor-shaped playing pieces. You moved around the board collecting animal cards. Once you had four or five cards of a particular animal, you were allowed to land on one of the Market Day squares to redeem your cards for one of the cut-out animals. These cut-outs were placed in the corresponding spot in your selected 'farm' (one of four in the centre of the board). ONE STEP AT A TIME TILE-PLACEMENT GAME: Players fill in the countryside around the medieval fortified city, choosing from tiles that depict cities, roads, monasteries, and fields; each new tile creates an ever-expanding board on which players can then add their followers Gumtree.com Limited is an Introducer Appointed Representative of CarMoney Limited who are authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, FRN 674094. As new, Junior Scrabble board game. Box in excellent condition, used only once. Two games in one and comes complete with relevant bits. See photos. This particular edition is from 1964 & therefore, given its age is showing areas of wear and tear , some marks to the top of the lid , its corners & sides & base & an attempt to repair a split to the side of the lid.

Azul offers simple rules but meaningful choices making it easy to learn while offering a subtle depth to every turn! It’s perfect for families and veteran gamers. Be careful! If take too many tiles, and cannot fit them on the row, the leftover tiles will fall to the floor, costing you points at the end of the game. In addition to these basic rules, there are several variants and variations that add different levels of complexity to playing Coppit. These changes can include different strategies for how to use your dice during play or more rules about movement restrictions among other things. No matter what version you choose, playing Coppit is always a great way to enjoy a fun evening together! Coppit Board Game Across Different CulturesIt had been kept in a very good and immaculate condition. Everything is included, the dice, counters, and all paperwork. This second difference makes sense when you understand what the aim of the game is in Coppit. Rather than standard playing pieces each player has four cones, or hatsas they are known in Coppit. These all start off in your home base. Now, what you are trying to do is to be the last player standing, whilst all players try to capture other players hats. In other words, it’s a “running fight” board game. HOW TO ACHIEVE VICTORY: Players score points by having followers on tiles as features are completed. The player who makes the most strategic placements of tiles and followers will score the most points and win the game
