INSULATION - The insulation from the cold ground is very helpful when camping in early or late season - Spring or Autumn when the night time temperatures are much lower. Built using a waterproof base, foam mid-layer and soft fleece fabric, the carpet provides essential comfort and warmth when tackling all weather types outdoors.And off course the ZiG is still in perfect condition, as when we pitch, a cheap tarp goes down first, and then a 1mm thick butyl rubber groundsheet goes on top of that, which has protected the ZiG from the underside.
